Hi I am from India ...love your channel here in India it is difficult to get many reels...after seeing your channel I purchased marlos athlon loved that but some how I lost it in fishing trip...now looking for another right now zeroed on kastking zypher.... My lure weight is 3.5 to 10 gram I want you please suggest any reel which should accomodate at least 100 yard of .25 mm monofilament.. The species I am after is Mahaseer a fish from great Himalaya in our stream we get up to 20 lb ..and it fight hard and run longer...but small lures work magic..crank bait mostly even spinner which I make my self...crank bait also I make for 7 and above lure weight I use abugarcia pro max I have two and recently I bought last king royal legand...now please suggest some very budged friendly reel my budget is 200 $ in Indian rs it's 20000 rs...but it's very difficult to find here ...earlier I ordered fron ali express but now it is not supplying in india

Have you ever heard of any new reels are coming out like the metanuim dc in a 100-150 spool plus in a different color like the scorpion 200 MD which one do you think is better between the scorpion 200 MD are the new metanuim DC 70s spool

That mach shallow spool is a flipping/pitching skipping reel not bfs but I'm sure you can use it to a extent for bfs. I doubt it will go very light weight though.

The vanford was released in 2020 so its about the normal time frame for shimano to do a upgrade/updated version.

@@THEREELTEST I watched the video too lol. The lews representative said lewd doesn't have a actual bfs reel but they have some shallow spool options that will cast down to 1/8th easy. But those reels where designed to be skipping and flipping models. Ftom the hints I gathered lews is working on a bfs reel for the US market though.

I seen kvd casting that lews custom pro and it was slinging some lures lol and he said it's the first reel he's had he didn't have to thumb. I'd like to test either with those breaks but dang that thing is pricey for a crazy colored reel 😂.

@@THEREELTEST no he showed it while he was saying it lol. It was at his private pond on someone else's channel not his. Tyler was fishing his pond and Tyler also casted it without any thumb and no backlash. I have buddy that was sent one to test that doesn't work for lews said the same thing. He said it was worth the money and amazed him that it cast so well.

The Vanford was made in 2020 according to JLS. I would like to see one in action against the Stradic also. I don't have any Stradic reels but I have a Vanford and I love it.

The original Vanford came out in 2020 I’m pretty sure

It did, I think it was pretty on point to refresh the reel. They usually refresh the models every 4-5 years if not even more often
