ICE AGE THEORY: Scrat Ate His Son 

All jokes aside, the scene with Scrat finally getting to munch on the acorn he's been chasing after for so long was the most perfect way BlueSky could say goodbye and have one last hurrah before getting laid off by the Big Cheese

I feel that another, somewhat more optimistic interpretation of the epilogue is that Scrat, after spending decades of being the jester/sisyphus to the nut God and proving it entertainment at the expense of his health and sanity, finally gets fed up with being the nut's plaything and him eating the acorn can been seen as him finally rebelling against his abusive master after being abused and indirectly responsible for causing mass extinctions for so long. Yeah, the universe still dies, but Scrat is essentially finally free from the cosmic torment that plagued him and found eternal peace in the void of death and the universe itself (Blue Sky) has kinda devolved into a unsalvageable fluke anyway. So in a way, Scrat killing the nut can be seen as him mercy killing a universe that's been considered broken beyond repair

If the acorn was his son the entire time, does that mean he was spiking his son into the ground the entire time or just that end bit where he eats the acorn?

I think Scrat eating the acorn is a symbol of overcoming an addictive lifestyle or it's a retelling of Adam committing the original sin by eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge. and maybe even a metaphor of the end of one era and the start of another. "one door closes and another one opens" so the saying goes.

One thing to note, though, is that the weird dodo kid doesn't age either...Scrat is literally the only one who ages. Is he being punished for forsaking his acorn?

As the days pass I get more and more concerned for his physical health. His mental health is already gone

I remember describing Scrat as a "multiversal misanthrope" in one of the Community Posts leading up to this video, but now I'm not so sure the label fits him as well as it fits the likes of Mort or Katie. He's certainly an anomaly of some sort, but even now he doesn't seem to be as "up there" as the rest of his confounding kin, if that makes any sense.

It felt like someone was breathing on my neck for the entire time I watched. That is the type of environment this video created for me.

I mean it's pretty obvious the squirrels Willy Wonka hired are Scrat's children, he only ate his first son. Why else would you think they wouldn't mind sending two humans down a garbage chute?

Hello Theorizer, have been waiting for this, ever since our brief exchange in the comments of your last Scrat video after the shorts released and it did not dissapoint, although the lack of mention of the Dodo is indeed slightly so, a minor yet regular character on the shorts, we see him first, summoned by Baby Scrat as one of the elements for Scrat to hurt himself with, it then returns on episode 5 stealing the acorn and trying to swallow it, just like baby scrat, important to note, when it doesn't have the acorn, it is a flightless bird as normal dodos were, however after taking hold of the acorn it flies, in the final episode he acts as Scrats heart beat monitor, before he dies, barely ageing from his previous appearances, is he half acorn too? wel it could be, a lot of people seem to say that a baby dodo shouldn't appear in the shorts as the dodos were killed during the first movie, but if he is half acorn he could have survived the entire time, even if Scrat ate his son or the acorn, another demigod is out there, also aparently Disney Junior is developing an Ice Age Babies series for Disney+

It's kind of related to Coraline in some sort of way, but I will be looking forward if you can come up with a theory on Hello Neighbour. Not only does this game not have a theory on it, it's had multiple alphas, therefore it gets interesting each alpha.

You should eventually look in to malefor from spyro and the connections between spyro, crash and skylanders, the strange case of malefor saying that he has lost to spyro multiple times on multiple worlds that might imply that the sorcerer from shadow legacy is malefor, Cynder having 2 similar yet different backstories in spyro and skylanders, in crash twinsanity spur briefly appeared,crash bandicoot appeared in a bonus extra crash bandicoot level in skylanders imaginators. It's the malefor and his line "time and time again you have tried to stand in my way." "there is no place on any world you can hide from me!" "your memories of the past may be fragmented, spyro." Implies that skylanders spyro is the same as legend spyro but cynder's multiple backstories imply that he isn't. Malefor existing in skylands for centuries and knowing of previous battles with spyro also implies spyro from skylanders in a third incarnation. It's a confusing mess, like is spyro reincarnated like link while malefor won't ever actually die, it's a confusing mess because of a lack of communication and that made me think of recommending this subject as a possible topic for you to eventually cover.

This is the problem I have with the new Theorizer videos. They are trying to unsettle you when they should be shocking you. The difference is the music choice, and word choice. The long rants are unnecessary, the music is unnecessarily creepy, even for a creepy video like this. The Coraline videos did it way better because the content within the movie was actually creepy, the editing of the video was better, and The Theorizer was different. He seems to have gone down the deep end lately and I don't think the Theory videos are as good. I hope it's not a mental health issue because I've been through a breakdown before and it is living hell. I hope it's not that.
