My favorite thing about this channel is that no matter how crude the character designs are or become throughout the cartoon, they are still distinct enough to recognize the character they are meant to portray. Your pacing is perfect, your style is unique, and your consistency while staying innovative is inspirational. And it's hard for me to make it out because I have to keep a low volume where I'm at right now, but I'm pretty sure the singer for the song in the background says, "I am gay," a couple times. 😂 If your videos were food, you'd have three Michelin stars, in my opinion.

I love how, when Diego explains his plan to eat Manny and the kid, Sid is represented by a trash can

Unironically: the scene where we see Manny looking at the cave drawings and getting PTSD is still heart wrenching. Its so much more than him losing his family, but just reliving the extinction of his entire race (As he thought at the time). Also him forgiving the humans in the end and returning their cub.

Making Diego’s front legs vestigial and having to walk with his teeth is such a good visual gag

Ice age as a whole was not always that great, but you know what was amazing? How it ended with a short where scrat eats his acorn and leaves. It felt so meaningful in such small little window of time, i actually rewatch the entire ice age saga after it. Poetic.

2:40 I like the joke about real reason of the Dodo bird extinction. The actual year of the Dodo bird extinct is 1600s. Caused by the Dutch exploits the island Mauritius.

The ending reminds me of the original version of Ice Age, where after defeating the Sodo, Diego was supposed to die from his injuries after earning his redemption. But when it was shown to the test audience, the kids hated it. So the whole thing had to be redone, which took months to do and set the release date back then originally intended. Other things lost were Sid's girlfriend and his son. Sid was a cheating deadbeat father that constantly ditched his gf and son for the sloth hoochies. Scenes with the sabers bickering and infighting were also cut. Aside from plot relevant stuff there was also Some more scenes with the humans Some deleted prehistoric animals in the herd were terror birds, big ass salamanders, mastodons that were smaller than Manny, cave bears, andrewsarchus (a prehistoric hooved carnivore), warthogs, and monkeys.

Honestly just watching this as an adult just brings back so many good memories and I laughed just as much as I did watching this as I did then thank you so much dude keep them coming

The ending was perfect. It's like cas said yeah were not recapping all 5 sequels after the first ice age what are you crazy. And disney shutting down blue sky studio making scrat homeless was a nice touch at the end. But at least in the final short, scrat finally got his happy ending and just ate the acorn.

I'm honestly surprised there wasn't a dark joke around 5:38, where the humans kill the animals anyway for food. XD

Man I'm so glad your cartoons make it so far. God just calling it a cartoon feels understatement. Cartoons nowadays seem to be about farting out as many episodes they can. But man I could watch these over and over again, they seem to be made with care and fun.

I love how they are able to have songs that replicate what the real songs sound like. Amazing work!
