One of my biggest food pet peeves is when they just put a scoop on top instead of stuffing the cone so u finish the ice cream and then u have the plain dry cone
That ice cream is done a million times better here in anchorage at Wild scoops. Local flavors that are homemade with a twist, freshly made waffle cones with allspice and topped “baked Alaska” style. It’s really the only way to go. It makes that ice cream look like a kids cone.
Totally, if you can afford to travel and eat here, do; but keep in mind, Smorgasburg and the like aren't really NYC street food, they're more like semi-permanent food fairs. Actual street food is still good, but a different beast, with a whole lot more chicken and rice involved.

you know the funny thing? ... is that "that italian meringue" ... it supposed to be hard ... because it's cooked ... in the oven ... after "pepperoni" (that it's a mispelled version of "peperoni" in italian -> bell pepper) this is another word that it's used by americans to get more money, because if somebody says that it's italian, then it "sounds cool" and it must be true! xD (even though, "meringue" it's french and in italian we say "meringa ") ... x,D
+Easterbunbun AJ Meringue is not necessarily Italian... there are beliefs that meringue either comes from France or from Switzerland and maybe the recipe could have reached Italy and improved... I really don't know much more... But still... Meringue is used in many countries nowadays... not just Italy... so it is stupid to say "Italian meringue", when it is just meringue... My question was if this exact meringue is any different to any other meringue...
