Ice Cube says that rap beef is just “part of the game.” The legendary rapper says he doesn’t like to see rappers like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole beef. #JCole #KendrickLamar #IceCube #NWA #beef #rappers #hiphop #Drake
Cube talks slow but its because he's really thinking about what he is gonna say instead of just saying what people wanna hear. respect to him for always being true
Ice Cube dropped over 15 cds, 12 movies, unlimited videos and collaborations, hang with ex-NBA players & EVEN started a league, ........HOWEVER, HE CLAIMS HE IS "NOT" A PART OF HOLLYWOOD !!!......and YALL believe him too!!
Like him and Easy E, but thankfully they made up before E died. I met them when they were hanging out at a club in ny called the tunnel back in the 90s.
I discern so much honesty from Ice Cube! it's all in his powerful voice! When ya got it you got it!!! When ya know ya know!!! Much respect to Ice Cube with a heart of Gold!!! You Rock OG!!!💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💯
@@charlesjones900 It was a short skit called “A Message to Benedict Arnold” basically a traitor. It was right before the song Real Ni66as. They talked about sodomizing that man with a broomstick…smh
It’s funny cause Drake seems like a harmless dude but what’s scary is that he is powerful enough to pay people to hurt others. It happened when this tattoo artist tattooed drake on a fans obsessed fans forehead and apparently Drake didn’t like that the artist did that so he sent two muscles 💪 dudes to beat up the artist. What’s even more scary is how did he find out the tattoo artist location ?
I said the same thing. This new culture don't keep it on wax. Besides, the media throws gas over everything to escalate stuff, so when something bad happens, they off to the next beef to stir the pot. Salute to Cole for being a grown ass man.
Yeah but they cool with each other and already did songs together. This wasn't go violent. It was gonna be a rap battle between to of the best right now. So i don't think he was being a better man i think he didnt wanna battle period lol
I think this was going to escalate I would simply because of the way Drake is and how many enemies he has while I stand by Drake in this situation more than the others I can see this becoming a Tupac and Biggie situation if things get too out of hand @@mosthighlatin1537
Also Also Cube: Knows that it shouldn't have to get to this point anymore because most of these "beefs" now are usually some internet BS and you hardly know the person.
What Cube did wasn’t beefing. He had a legitimate gripe and was putting those involved on blast. Remember, Cube wrote a lot of the songs for NWA. True enough, they had Dr. Dre but Dr. Dre was on his way out of the group as well. I saw Cube in concert in L.A. several months ago and he said the reason he went so hard on “No Vaseline” was because Jerry Heller lied on his mom. You don’t mess with a guy’s mom
Once again, Ice Cube, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your message. It's crucial for the younger generation to receive this knowledge, and if they don't listen to you, I truly wonder where their mindset is headed. I have followed your entire journey, watching every single movie you've made, witnessing your growth throughout your entire career. Please, continue doing what you do best and never stop pushing yourself. You have been an immense inspiration in my life, and I must emphasize that I am a proud 45-year-old fan. I've listened to every album you've released and watched every movie, witnessing your continuous evolution. Please, keep up the remarkable work, and remain steadfast in your endeavors.
Back in the earlier days of rap yes it was battling nowadays it's beef and can lead to murder like Cube said.He should know he had plenty with his labelmates! Stop the madness to minimize the sadness! ✌️💯🎤
@@scaramouche1626 The name drop didn't start it as drake said in his diss the beef didn't begin with 'like that' he and Kendrick been going at each other for years but ppl don't realize it's that serious so when Cole backed out they tried to clown him. They really don't like each other
Cube is from the era where beef turned deadly. Cole and Kendricks situation aint that. Imagine if Cube did a show and apologized for no vaseline on stage. He would have lost all credibility in the hip hop world. I understand Cole saying his diss didnt sit right with him, but he never should have put it out then.
Probably cause cole let his ego get the best of him and wasn't thinking at the time and by the time the diss got attention he realized what he really had done
He said the opposite. He’s said today is worst, back then it was just rap. Besides Pac/Big no other rapper died cause of beef. You can name a lot in this era.
@HooodClassicsTV You make a good point. But to be fair, most of what's going on today with people getting killed is in the drill music scene. IMO, that's not hip hop, that's all dry snitching and promoting violence. But you do make a great point tho.
@@Rock.lee7736first off it's spelled nope you clown. 2nd, Ether is the best diss ever and it's not even close. So really you spelled "hell ya" wrong whiteboy
Corniest comment ever 😂 Kendrick starts beef and proceeds to only make songs spilling tea on drake like a shaderoom post 😂 you old mfs are pathetic and weird for treating this stuff like it means anything. Dudes pushing 40 gossiping about each other get a life
He speaking from the heart, I obviously can’t speak for cube but I’m pretty sure he regrets his young beef it’d damn near make me cry thinking back on that all, some real emotional stuff it can lead to
I remember watching the Beef series on various beefs between rap artists such as T.I. & Lil' Flip, Ice Cube & Common, Nelly & KRS-One, Ja Rule & Fifty Cent, Nas & Jay-Z and many more.
You can big up yourself without knocking somebody else. And it can be the dopest bars. The universe has ever heard if you actually are a good rapper and know how to rap. Usually people only get reaction by knocking somebody else.
I think Cole probably knew something behind the scenes that resulted in an apology. Kendrick saying “you think I won’t drop my location” in Like That… who knows he probably got threats from Drake’s camp. I don’t see Kendrick folding to Drake. Cole got a whole bike, he ain’t got time for no threats himself. Kendrick made a post on his burner account “jojoruski” that sums up how he’s feeling before the world even heard the Like That featured verse from him. Hopefully no one gets hurt.
That’s because Tory is a person who clearly has issues with controlling his anger. Nothing in J Coles or Kendrick’s character has shown us that they would do anything even remotely close to that.
I really hope he isn't suggesting that back in the day, people were murdered less for rap beefs. It kinda seemed like he was implying that... which would be WILD.
The slippery part of that is when ego gets involved with competition. In order to win you gotta do more than just jab, and if you stop holding back, things could get ugly.
Right along with the 140+ republicans that joined "45" in the attempted overthrow of our democracy yet STILL remain in positions of authority VERY DANGEROUS and EXTREMELY RECKLESS, they will try again!!! ✊🏿✊🏾✊️✊🏻💙💙💙
Drake ..K dot and Jermaine are not “beefing” first of all ..they are competing ..and it’s not over a woman ..that’s Metro and Future making diss albums over their feelings about a woman
No. He's gonna come out looking like a sucka who doesn't know how to battle rap. Nobody is telling him to talk about offing Kendrick. That's ridiculous. And, how do you know what all this is about? I heard that this is about industry politics and Drake thinking he can keep the pie all to himself while feeding those 🥷🏽's crumbs.
i respect this, yall need to learn more respect for an og in these comments when it comes to his rap beef history meanwhile yall don’t know the rap world like he does bc why? yall are fans.
Cube, you my dude but respectfully, shut all that ish up! This is hip hop and your genre is winning. None of these cats bout to do a damn thing outside the studio
There is a difference from beef and battle! Big 3 are battling, 3 millionaires who are placing their ego, wealth, and popularity on the line. A sport of word wit!
Thats what i thought at first and it definitely had the potential to be dangerous ,but i think we jumping the gun,, it would've just stayed on wax, a few back and forths with these two great of todays hip hop is what the game needs right now! A few diss tracks from each other then squashing it would've been perfect but damm cole threw in the towel after he was claiming number one and throwing shots at rapoers here n there this past year . Disappointing .....i think maybe cole thought it would've gone beyond wax, thats why the apology??
Bitch in you IMO is second only to ether. Knowing ice cube and his boys heard I used to love h.e.r and somehow took offense to it shows their understanding of hip hop and lyrics. Not to say cube isn’t a legend but it’s a great example of FAAFO.
I think the main thing to consider is that when Cube beefed with NWA, he still loved them. He was mostly pissed off at Jerry Heller taking advantage of them and Eazy being too blind to see it. J. Cole really respects Kendrick and he probably just saw it like a friendly beef, a jab or two for shits and giggles, but he knew that Kenny was gonna go for blood against Drake and he backed out before he permanently burned that bridge.
Yes it’s weird how no other genre of music do they pit each other against one another besides Hip Hop & RB. It’s almost like they get a rise out of putting us against one another for them to sit back and watch 😢
