So basically, Ice Cube smashed up that office so he could pay for his unborn child to live in a house. Twenty years later, that child repeated his father's actions as his father in a movie. Nice!!
@@Abbot3663 So Arabian Prince is a founding member of NWA and in the movie Straight Outta Compton (2015) he was written out of most of the scenes even though he stated he was there when it happened before he left the group. An example in the movie is when Cube sees what's happening with the money and is the first one to leave even though it was Arabian Prince who left first.
Tha Eazy Z wow.. The irony in that sentence calling me unintelligent then a piece of shit fucking bitch lol. Please get off the Internet.. And if ur not a 13 year old boy.. I feel very sad for u since u never learned to grow up. Stop insulting people randomly and say what u want to say.. Like a normal Human being. You waste of skin
Tha Eazy Z There nothing to get u small minded fool. Your idiocracy amazes me. And stop calling people retards, it's 2017 that's not cool anymore numb nuts. Id rearrange your face if you said that around me.
He seems like a pretty nice and rational person. Not the type to tear up someone's office with a baseball bat, but I guess we all have our breaking points.
Zionist scum living off the blood, sweat and tears of black musicians. Casing point: TLC. They were paid less then 20 cent per album sale. Left Eye died broke.
@@L1am21 not necessarily. when i was buying my condo, i got a sizable advance from my employer so that i could buy it outright without taking out a mortgage and paying a closing fee or be forced to pay interest to a bank. i didn't cost me anything. it was just removed from my pay checks. i got 80k, and that's exactly how much was taken out of my checks over the next 2 years
when O'shea Jr. has a son his son can play him in a biopic and they can have a scene where Osheas son is playing him as Ice Cube. like an Ice Cube inception lol
Say what you want about Sam but he's a good interviewer, adds just enough relevant stuff so it's not just a guest's monologue but not too much to be annoying
He's a real G if you a pussy ass dude from the suburbs but to the real Gs who were actually affiliated with Bloods and Crips out there he wasn't. Thats why he got into some heat in the early and mid 90s with guys like Kam and the group Above The Law
I love that he wanted the money, not just because he earned it or because he wanted to buy a nice house to just to have nice things, but because of his unborn son. Like that’s such a man right there.
I watched the scene in Straight Outta Compton and asked my dad if this actually happened then my dad said Ice Cube ain't got the balls to do that. He was speechless when I showed him this video
@@janicec1948facts he was getting fucked over all that shit he broke he had already basically paid for that shit a few times over again and then some so why would they ever kick him to the curb over some chump change and hearing that they even gave him the 100 Gs I see why he did it now
One of the best lyricist dead or alive and rarely gets mentioned for sales, creativity, loyalty (wife and family), contribution to not only the music society but to the world (yes world)....and he doesn't care. #Big3
He still is hes just gotten under a lot more control these days and it takes more to bring the monster out Far too many people make the mistake of taking kindness as weakness
Jon Collins Agreed, I can only imagine his reaction when he steps out of his bathroom and Ice Cube and his guys are standing there with baseball bats 😂
what we aren't hearing is that Ice Cube probably bought a very expensive house. Back then short a 100,000 was a lot of money. IC made millions ofc for that company. They should have fronted the money. I'm sure they did the next time :D
Ken Havens well priority records was making alot of money. 100gs wasnt that much for them. They probably tried to not give him the money even if they could because it was ice cube from the streets. Ice cube said it himself that he didnt know how to do the paper work and business side shit. They tried take advantage of this weakness of his
Ken Havens real estate is bad where he was at, that’s why all the houses in Compton are tiny with barred windows, because people on welfare can’t afford good houses. It’s a cruel system but he probably wasn’t buying some insane house
@Topher Diaz ignore him, he's jsut racist, the fact is big business men will rip off musicians regardless of colour, here in the UK loads of big bands in the 60s-80s were ripped off royal. Nothing to do with colour, white business men ripping off white musicians.
Lmao as he tells the story, my ass was thinking if I was working the front desk I would also be like ‘hey was up cube, yeah he’s in there, go ahead’ and continued working while humming 😂
In reality during N.W.A years ago Ice cube said “I got a baby on the way” and in the movie Ice cubes son plays his part and said that exact same line and he was the baby on the way😂❤️❤️GOSH I LOVE ICE CUBE AND O’SHEA AND N.W.A❤️❤️❤️
They should've done that scene with O'Shea just how Cube explained it, with Brian coming outta the bathroom and seeing him standing there with all of Da Lench Mob! Art of surprise lol
David Bristol nah he had respect he just didn’t have their understanding. They all knew him as the dude from NWA and in NWA Eric was the gangster, so they assumed nothing like that was gonna happen but what they didn’t realize was all them dudes was “bout that action” and they found out cube was definitely one of them “niggas”.
Music industry is notorious for screwing artists out of money, with full intent and malice. Usually they prey on the artist’s ignorance of contracts to cut them out of the profits, and it still happens today with artists who want so badly to be famous that they don’t bother going over contracts they sign with labels. Ironically, Jerry Heller also represented Elton John, just one of countless huge artists (Paul McCartney and all the Beatles...Led Zeppelin....The Who....Ronnie Spectre...Donovan...Bob Dylan...the list is endless) who had basically all their money stolen from them by shady managers and businessmen. Most of the big-time swindling went down in the mid-to-late 70s, when the music industry was at its absolute hedonistic and excessively profitable peak, but was certainly not limited to that period.
It's funny but it's sad that sometimes people just don't understand when your'e nice and business like. It's only when you get physical, then you get there attention.
I love that DJz interaction not.too much but for me I just want silence when cube speaks. He doesn't need no prompting! He's gon give us all the details just wait n see
Not going to lie, Cube was my favorite NWA member, but at this stage(in the movie) I thought he was just angry at the world and that's why he did it, I thought he had more than enough money and was just being money-hungry, this was an eye opener, he's not violent at all, just was pushed to the edge.
Anyone that's ever dealt with a record label will stand and applaud at Cube during that scene. They're all the same, bunch of morons in a suit and tie looking after themselves and treating artists like sh*t. They're responsibles for the epidemic of drugs abuse and mental health issues among artists for the past 40 years.
These Boyz love when cats like Ice Cube have a great ending. If ya know where I'm coming from ya know. Ice Cube in full effect. Love hearing Ice Cube talk about his history and life as a Hiphop emcee.
thank you for starting the topic of the video right off the bat, im sick of having to shuffle through 30 minutes of an interview just to get to the good stuff
