I've brought a number of people to Peck. Some are addicted and come back every year.....some have vowed to never return. It's a very unforgivable body of water that tests anglers. Something always goes wrong there, but when it goes right its remarkably rewarding.
One quick tip with Lakers, I've caught plenty this season, but I hand line mine and don't give them a chance to fight. Get them up and out before they even know what's happening. Too much fighting will give more chance for the fish getting away. Good luck 👍
Stayed at the fort peck hotel for our trip too, after we left we gained a respect for it, it adds to the experience big time, that’s always half the fun when taking trips with the boys
yooo you’re in montana?? i find that cool lmao cause i’m from and live in montana, wish i could meet and fish with you bru! it’s too bad i live in the southern part of montana, but can’t wait for the videos! hope montana treats you nice
Stop tightening your drag. Pull it from the tip and get it set before you have the fish on. You tightened it too tight on both fish and then tried to pull them through the ice and not the hole. When you have the fish hooked, take your time. Hard part is already done.
My buddies and I were staying at the same hotel the same time you guys were there, my first impressions were it was haunted too😂! We were there for 3 days and caught one lake trout lol
Jon buddy you was horsing that last fish to much at the hole buddy!! Wear them pigs out more so that they are just a little bit more ready to just give up!!! Awesome job though buddy!! You are definitely going to be able to get your next one for sure buddy!!!
Nice I have eaten there many times. I grew up at spent a lot of time at fort peck and Glasgow that is where my family is from. That's some of the best pizza out there.
