One of the only places in the world where you can catch sturgeon ice fishing, then cook them up over a fire! After losing 2 big sturgeon in about 20 minutes, Micah finally landed a BEAST! Then we kept one in the 2 foot range for cooking up over a fire. We caught about 10 fish in all and had a total blast!

Lol you can keep and eat a sturgeon of any size. He charges by the size of the sturgeon. We are in Idaho and it’s not legal to keep or eat any sturgeon, except at this PRIVATE POND. He has a license and allows you to purchase them to eat, but they are spendy. I go here every summer and ITS A BLAST!!

Lol thats an odd way to fish for sturgeon, in tiny stocked pay ponds and chum through the ice. Haha nice catch n cook though! Btw they do sell extra heavy ice rods for huge trout, muskie and salmon that could definitely take on a sturgeon
