Why would you keep 100 crappie in 2 days?! You are the reason fisheries get depleted. Take enough for a meal and quit. 100 crappie in 2 days is ridiculous. Smh

@@adamhomb6012 a meal lol , I had people in the boat with me that wanted to take fish home too . Depleted that’s insane our lake is loaded I’ve brought home over 3,000 this year if that makes you feel bettter . I keep my freezer full, and I donate to friends when they want to cook for the church congregation or if a local friend or person is trying to do a benefit fundraiser an they know I have fish an ask me . I’ll donate fish to them to cook for raising money for kids sports or a illness etc.

We are using Shimano 1000s Ci4s.

We appreciate you watching. We are aware of barotrauma and talk about it in other episodes. First, if you keep a fish, you 100% kill it. If you release it, it has a chance. Most of the fish we caught had zero signs of it. We try to keep up on research and be aware; there is a recent study that talks about fish with barotrauma from basins under 30 feet that have a good chance of recovery. Some fish experience it in 22 fow, there are a lot of factors that go into it. We try our best to respect the resource and educate people, but it's a balancing act from standing on our soap box and preaching to educating people where they listen.
