Went out to the shack the other day to do some walleye fishing and realized I forgot my flasher. No worries, I had a slip bobber rigged up and I walk y'all through how I set slip bobbers and tip-ups without a flasher handy. I even catch a nice walleye to show you guys along the way. Give 'er a watch and let me know what y'all think.
Rod used: Ugly Stik "Dock Runner"
Reel: Some old reel off a Bass Pro Shop ultra-light combo
Main line: 6-pound Floro (Idk what brand, but I normally use Gamma or P-line)
Bobber: Thill slip of appropriate size (Will add specific size later maybe... ask in comments)
Weight: 1/16th oz egg sinker
Hook: Gamakatsu (I spelled this on the first try without looking) #8 painted octopus hook
- You can go a little bigger with the hook size, you'll hook more fish. I want more bites.
Bait: Not your ordinary medium shiners 😉
