I am a retired O-5 US Navy Commander F18E Naval Aviator. Flight training was 2 years.including Carrier Qual. I was enlisted 8 years prior as a E-7 Intel Specialist. i mustanged to OCS. I started flying in F/A18 Cs then transistioned to F18Es in 2000/2001. Flown F18s for 25 years. I have flown and trained with the Swiss Airforce Also with the Austrialian Air Force.

@@Jimmythefish577 I am sorry you feel that way sir. you want to know something I admitt it. Written English I actually sucked it. I barley got bye in College and the NAVY. I can understand it and speak it read it fluently. my written i have always struggeled with it. And I will admitt it. My strengths were advanced level Mathematics, chemistry phsyics.. however I speak read write 15 fluent languages. Do you?. my first native language is ITALIAN. AFRIKAAN,ZULU,,SWAHILI HEBREW,ARABIC, FARSI,PASTO, DARI,RUSSIAN,MANDARIN, GERMAN FRENCH,SPANISH,PORTUGUESE. You dont need to be a english professor to be a fighter pilot. Just realy good at math, chemistry, and especially pyhsics.. flying a jet is all math and pyhsics... comms is verbal. Reports well mine were always corrected spell checked and punctuated by my E-6 brown shirt crew captain before I subitted them..
