Personally I think 98-99% of people don’t want to go toward the knife and would end up getting stabbed with any man putting force into the stabbing. Probably better to let them swing the knife first no?? -Coming from someone who was recently physically assaulted by a stranger
This may be a dumb question but how do you run away? How likely is the person to chase after you? I always see videos start with “if you can, run away” but what can I do to make sure I can?
We do a similar defense in Kali..have you tried switching your feet during the initial block with the same technique to get yourself a bit further from the blade? Obviously if you are ambushed and surprised you may not have time, but I would be curious if you have tried that, and your thoughts on it. The way you are doing it i believe will have a little more bodyweight and force into the block, but if you switch i think you will find it is a pretty strong frame and you create some extra space between you and the blade.
Right cross is probably one of the best knife defenses if you don't have a weapon or escape route can time it where you don't die. To be fair there are no good knife defenses just some that give you a better chance. A knife should be treated with the same respect as a gun or multi attacker situation. You start at a horrible disadvantage and try to work your way out of it.
better than being stabbed 20 times. he said at the beginning to run away if you can--this is a last resort if you can't, and it seems pretty sound to me and based on tried and true grappling mechanics, like a two on one arm drag.
tell me you know nothing of wrist control and quick movement. If you think that IRL hes not gonna do all these movements with a few seconds at most, youre asinine. You should save that clown emoji for yourself, its your badge now.
😂😂that’s funny ,whats even funnier is that blue line gang flag you have hanging in the background. Only corruption and cowards hide behind that blue line😂😂😂😂
