Ice riding on a KLR 

My (almost) daily ride from work to home. I live in Eagle River and I rode to Anchorage. I ride as much as possible. Mostly because I get 54 mpg when I ride l! I’m asked constantly why/how I do it. The answer is that it takes a boring commute and makes it a joy and I save money on gas. When I’m riding on ice the only this that makes it slide is the loose stuff piled in the middle that’s mixed in with sand. Keep the speeds moderate, watch the lean angle on dry pavement (studs slide), don’t let anyone in your bubble and always have a way out! Don’t get trapped by a bunch of cellphone looking, lane changing no turn signal using NPC’s!
