I love the beauty of the ocean you show us in the winter. That Boulder with all the ice frozen in what appears to be stairs, simply magnificent. Bless your heart for shelling for us in the frozen weather. I’m in Indiana and it’s zero but I’m not out shelling and freezing like you are. My favorite one today was the one with so much navy blue on it. It wasn’t the largest but what a beauty, thanks!! It’s funny how salt water freezes when we’re always putting salt down in the roads. That’s when you know it cold!! Thanks again, watching shelling is my joy, now that my husband died and I don’t have him to take me shelling, so RU-vid is my next best thing.😭

Hi Jamie and Kim. Love the paint roller handle idea. You two are amazing being out there in the cold and ice. Y'all have OCSD for sure!!!! I could shell 24/7 but not in that cold. It was 15 and 19 degrees in SC last 2 nights and it nearly killed me. Going to Edisto this wkend. Suppose to be in the 60's. That's more my shelling weather! Loved watching you guys😊! I have the sand digger. It is great for small pieces. This way, you aren't bending as much. Love the paint roller clip. The science of getting sea shells out of high pressured areas is tough...use a paint roller 😂 Love your videos❤

Awesome moons and stifsoney(I have no idea how to spell that lol) It was 15 here in upstate SC last night with a wind chill of 4, crazy cold. Glad you're back from hotlanta Georgia.
I don’t get to sea-glass or shell hunt in Maine in the winter because we only get up there for spring-fall. Even so, there are some cold (not freezing) days when I want my hands to stay dry, so I use vinyl-type “surgical” gloves and they enable me to still use my phone. My hands are cold, but they are dry. Bring an extra pair in case one gets torn with all that digging. I’ve also worn Chooka rain boots and my feet have stayed dry, even with walking through water. Thanks for your content and persistence!! Did your area manage well enough with the recent rains/high waters?
Love your channel :) I’m new (November) to the island, where is the area you began filming in (rocky)? Also, you could try getting a couple pairs of gloves that have the cell phone tips on the fingers. That way you can film and if (when) your gloves get wet you can just switch them out. Your poor hands were so red and I’m out there daily, I know how cold it gets when we can’t help picking up sea treasures:) Thanks for the videos, I’ve been watching them since before we moved here!! 😆
