I have an idea for a cool game mode that will fit my run and gun type of playing. Hot puck! Puck overheats and blows up if it is in posession for too long, so you should make the most of it. Let's say every posession has a 20 real time seconds to force the player to go for a finish at a fast pace. I would love that. No more spinning in the corners and shit like that

I think there is some coding in the game that intentionally nerfs cards that are really good, Auston Matthews and Ovis shots are completely ineffective and yet 83 Laura Stacy's shot is automatic somehow

This is what I’ve noticed since the patch. The opposing AI smash’s my players all over the ice regardless of who has the puck, I can’t hit the AI most of the time. If I smash someone or poke it away, my player usually doesn’t pick the puck up. The AI has been scoring from or behind the goal line. The AI runs interference a lot. I’m enjoying 24 way more than 23!

The online experience is poor, 97% of the players just wait for you to slip up in the offensive zone to get on the rush cross the crease and score. And passing through 3 players cross the crease is also garbage that it works 8/10 times . That's the end of my rant. Keep the content coming

Cam, few things... You underestimate how we appreciate showing the frustration. Other streamers just show when things go well and it looks like to us how smooth the week goes for them while the rest of us pull our hair out going .500.... I cant relate with them, but it feels better to know you're more one of us, than them. I went 11-2. So start champs and finished 12-8..My Sat was brutal. I felt i was losing draws where i was doing the counter. One game i couldnt win a draw against kopitar. I had Rod the Bod with Quick Draw..

I don't know what they did to the game, but the game got absurdely worse, is launch Day level worse, you can't defend once again, unless you Just stand in place (don't ask me how, but that worked) the imput delay is worse, and I can guarantee, it's the game holding you UP, because every time you change player the game quickly makes you do a pass if they change the player first, Man this game makes me miss 23, and one other thing happened tô me: my players in rivals are simply not skating faster when I press the l3 button

I don’t know about you guys but I simply can’t get the puck in my defensive end… poke checking does absolutely nothing, my opponent just rags around behind the net and in the corners, gets full pressure and eventually scores. Not to mention when you’re guys have no stamina they literally can’t do a single thing

Just deleted NHL 24. Been playing HUT for years under the definition of insanity. I’m done. Love competition in general and gaming since 80s. Also obviously my life long addiction to dopamine had me playing nhl and sim racing to my own demise. What put me over the edge Squad Battles and the L3 button. Came to the realization the L3 button actually does three functions when using it when needing to hustle. It some times makes your player hustle but what it does mostly is wear out your player. What is does that had me delete nhl 24? It actually pumps up the other team’s speed and aggression. Don’t believe me? Play the game online and try to use L3 then play the same game in squad battles without it. You’ll see the difference. In some games you’ll realize the effect more than others but it isn’t just a hustle button It is the bullshit. And why we all go through controllers like water. We keep beating the controller into dust. All the while the game is using that button to screw you and control the aggression and outcomes. Notice at the end of games the cpu after repeated hip checks was still green energy and mine was red at the end of games. £€¥!ing fixed

I hate this game. Played for years. Not sure if I will continue. Game should be renamed penalty hockey. So sick of this game. How can low rated cards beat a stacked team. Card ratings don't matter. EA ruined this once fun game.
