To think you were only at one gaster blaster spiral away from winning lol This fangame is amazing but it really needs a difficulty settings. Even some invincibility frames would make it A LOT more bearable.
i mean it's sans. even without KR, s should be pretty minimal, since sans does have 1 AT and without KR or critically short s he would be a huge pushover.
Yeah, even if the attacks stay exactly the same, having an easy mode that just adds like 1-2 more iFrames would make this game really easy for anyone to get into. Don't make it so that it's a cakewalk, because a game like this is definitely supposed to be souls-like in a way when it comes to difficulty, but make it so that it's a little easier for some people
honestly bro your a lot better at undertale games than you were a few years back. i guarantee most people who pick this game up as one of their first fangames will not get past papyrus. you're doing pretty good.
Sans and Flowey have always had a cool dynamic from the little we see of it in Undertale so it's really nice seeing a high quality AU expand on it. Can't wait to see this hopefully get finished as I really like the story and visuals.
This fan game reminds me a lot of the Starlight River mod for Terraria. They're both demos, they are high quality and look way cooler than most of the other fan projects of their respective game and even the boss fight music is kind of similar. Super excited for the full release of this!
I didn't realize when I suggested this that it was so difficult, sorry about that... I do think they should NERF that fight since that is so difficult, and it's so long... (maybe a checkpoint) While this game is difficult, it shouldn't be THIS difficult, it should give you a checkpoint or something, it looks like a lot to just have to remember and then attempt... Like I said before, you are so close... But this is really difficult, and I don't think anyone would mind if you took a break from it, I'd hate to be the person that causes you to dislike Undertale games from burnout.
i have a theory about this mod. I think that the reason Flowey keeps on talking about Frisk’s determination being drained is the reason the player doesn’t play as Frisk, but instead a new character. this would also fit in with the fact of time not moving, which would reveal that in undertale, or at least this universe, humans can lose their determination.
@@Treesinthesummer i would say that souls probably could not swap, just because determination seems more powerful than any other soul trait, multible times in undertale we see experiments gone wrong, most of the time becuase of determination, but it would seem possible if there were 2 humans willing to switch their souls quick enough.
Wow undertale fan games always amaze me this one in particular the dialog and the graphics and the designs are all amazing and lighting in some of the parts are so pretty 🤩 the animation is so smooth too

I like how sans is portrayed as a villain in this fangame. Other than dust sans and killer sans. Its just sans being controlled by some unknown purpose. Or he has an insane amount of PTSD

I've said this three times now, and i'll say it again. I hope you see it this time. Hey Merg, I've seen you playing Roblox games, and I have a Undertale Roblox Game suggestion for you: Undertale Last Corridor. The models are great, some better than others; The gameplay and mechanics are great; And they have alot of characters from AU's, and obviously Classic Sans; And Dustbelief is in the game, too! So you can have PTSD while playing it! (Especially because Dustbelief is possibly the strongest character in the game-) And some characters, such as Waterfall Dust Sans; Dustbelief; and Classic Sans have box attacks like in Undertale where you genuinely play Undertale with the SOUL, dodging attacks. Only thing is, you control the SOUL with WASD. And also you press W to jump if your SOUL is blue. And it even has a Singleplayer! Where you can fight Sans bosses such as: Swap Sans; Classic Sans; Fell Sans; Dust Sans; Hyper Dust Sans; Chara; (HATE Chara was an event); and ĐŮ$Ť3WÅP 6ÄP7ŘŲ$ for wins. I glitched the name because I don't wanna spoil it too much, but defeat Swap Sans, and fight Dust Sans. They also have events occasionally, for example, last Halloween. They had a Help_Tale Chara event. REALLY great game overall. So please, check it out! This games potential cannot go unnoticed.

This fan game has the invites you with the atmosphere and the story and then runs you over with a truck. However this fan game is really well made! Also, flowey's face looks like a screen for me, idk if someone else sees that.

32:41, Merg makes a good point here, people might not like the game because of it's difficulty, especially those who are there for the story alone. I love Undertale and the fanworks associated with it, but with something like this, i gotta admit, i'd probably rage quit early on. and when even Merg can't beat a single fight in 2 videos, that's a big yikes
