i was 16 years old, didn´t have the time to say goodbye - he was passing during a holiday at Gran Ganaria Island. This song has so much power and emotions. To all the people we are still have in mind, but miss them
Thank you guys, for sharing your sad stories with with me, with US. The song never lost it's strenght to cover our feelings and memories. Still heavy till this day.
this song....Omg. ....it has soooooo much memories for me.....my one true love used to sing this song. he died 4 years ago and listening to this song......I can hear him singing this and getting lost in the lyrics. this is what you call music.....rip Ronnie. ....I will forever love you.
Even if this comment is years old, it made me emotional while listening to this beautiful song. It's really sad to miss those special people in our lives permanently.
My dad died three weeks from now... It's extremely sad... And listening this song will always bring me a thoughts of him. He thought me how to do fishing, how to make bow and arrows... damn..Thanks dad, today's kids don't know how to have fun..
Thank the heavens for this song! I lost a friend as a result of a tragic death many years ago and this song is my closest connection to him. RIP Damien and thanks Iced Earth!🎉
They will play in my country in February 2014 and I already have a ticket. If they´ll play this song at their concert here I will cry. I will surely cry. It´s one of the most touching songs in metal.
These guys play to decent size crowds as it is, but if they had been around in the mid-80s in this form, they would've given Maiden a run for their money for the title of "Ultimate Stadium Metal Act."
Today's kids don't know what being "out of contact" means. When we were younger and we left our house, parents didn't know where we were until we returned. Children these days, will never understand the joy of the wilderness or fishing for your dinner, to work for your meal. They will never know the freedom of walking to and from school alone, with out worry..
@TheLegatoMan actually that's because they're directly recording from the amps, microphone, or the drum amp when they're playing live. you might hear a little of the crowd because either they've got another microphone out capturing the crowd (like from the cameras) or because they're cheering loud enough that either the drum amp or the Matt's microphone is capturing some of it (wouldn't be surprised XD). probably the former. when it's over they just refade the crowd in.
