Matt Barlow is my favorite singer ever, but this is easily one of the most epic songs in the fucking business. It drives me crazy that Iced Earth never gets the love they deserve

My oldest brother plays all of the soldiers in this video, including 3:27. \m/ He briefly showed it to me when it was released and then i shortly forgot about it. Then 1 year later when i was 14 i started listening to Iced Earth because of the comic Spawn and when i eventually reached this video i realised that this was the band he had shown me. I had never been so happy and proud in one moment! :D

RIPPER was a beast on this lp

This is such an awesome song. Ripper was a great choice for vocalist, and there are some seriously good songs from his time with the band. Barlow, however, will always be the voice of Iced Earth so I'm glad to see him back.

I still listen to this album daily. Ripper has such a powerful voice. Especially on The Clouding. I was pissed off when Jon kicked him out. Don't get me wrong... I think Matt is also one hell of a vocalist. But Ripper had that power Iced Earth seemed to be missing. I enjoy listening to The Crucible of Man. But I always end up coming back to Framing Armageddon. Would have been amazing to invite Matt back in AND keep Ripper. High Water Mark, anyone? Ripper on that song was Epic, as well.

This song has to be the most ultimate and greatest metal songs ever written... EVER!!!!

I first heard Iced Earth in 95 with Burnt Offerings, but proud to say.. That no matter who fronts the band.. I am their fan! \m/

Man, I will never be able to comprehend Jon Schaffer's thought processes. Yeah, the guy is an awesome guitar player, but why in the hell did he get rid of Tim Owens?! Ripper's voice was what made The Glorious Burden and Framing Armageddon such towering power metal epics! I love Iced Earth, but after Ripper left it seems to me like they lost a lot of their power. :(

I'm an old fan of the band but hadnt followed their work after the glorious burden. Yesterday I've listened to this masterpiece and it's on repeat since then ...counted already more than 200 times!

Fuck the dislikes... Ripper is one of the best vocalists of the Heavy Metal.... He sings better than many other old heavy metal singers... It is a sahme that this guy is compared with Halford, Matt Barlow and Stu Block... he has his own style so fuck the comparisions

One of my top favorite songs by Iced Earth. Great Awesome song. Im so amazed by Tim RIPPER Owens vocals. He truly is one of my top favorite metal vocalists of all time. Iced Earth shall 4ever remain one of thee best heavy-power-melodic metal bands of all time.

I see all those people spreading hatred on the band and over-analysing things almost saying that if Jon had not stormed the capitol there wouldn't be dead people etc. Guys, first of all what Jon and every "Jon" who was there that day did was illegal and yes, they should be brought to justice for their actions because they breached the law. As simple as that. To those of you Iced Earth ex-hard-core fans who mix music and politics, if you actually have been "listening" to 'em lyrics, you should have seen that coming. Don't really see why people are so impressed. And to those of you who play the "good democratic samaritan", none of us really knows Jon more than between a meet-and-greet and listening to IE in spotify so do not assume you know his beliefs and jump to conclusions. Iced Earth is a kickass MUSIC band first, and we all love their music even if a band member did a very illegal move, he must be brought to justice for that and thats it, life goes on. This song and video are what I call proof of my assertion that metal is nothing more than undiluted emotion. It's raw and in your face, but still has the feels that make it unique. Pity that so many people in metal these days go for the in your face but neglect the feels.

After having only one of thier CD's for years (Something Wicked This Way Comes) and not even knowing they had released so many more albums, I decided to check them out on youtube. Wow, this song was one of the first new ones I've heard, and its become one of my favorites instantly. In fact it was kind of stuck in my head for a few days! There really are very VERY few songwriters in history at the level of Mr. Jon Schaffer.

Damn it, those vocals are fucking epic. always gives me chills listening to him. His voice reminds me of Bruce Dickinson, Dio, and Rob Halford all in one. Kick ass. That's what got me into them.

Like Button was pressed only for hearing the intro. the rest of the song is then just more perfect.

Can't wait to hear what Stu Block sounds like with this band. Stu Block is amazing....well, so is Into Eternity...but Stu Block is a great vocalist.

No offense to Matt or Stu, but Ripper was the best Iced Earth singer, in my opinion. That said, this is really the only good song off this album. I thought both Framing Armageddon and Crucible of Man were pretty bad.
