tortflyfishing... The second film in Tørt Fly Fishing's Icelandic fly fishing film trilogy. English subtitles available 🇺🇸 / 🇳🇴 PART I: • ICELAND I (Full length... PART III: • Fly Fishing ICELAND II...
Thanks, Marty. That means a lot to us. Should have finished the subtitles a year ago, but we're too busy (and lazy)... I'll make it happen so you'll be able to watch it with English subs next time!
beautiful film lads well done ,, couldn't understand a word but didn't need to either, loved every second stunning scenery and the fishing was class !" come to Ireland you would love it here too ,,
#kabbe
Really awesome film, gutter! It's great to see not only your fish; but also the cameraderie and true happiness, whenever one of you gets a good one! As we say in Sweden. "Skitfiske" to you. (Literally - "Shit fishing"; but it really means the opposite!) Thanks for your films; they make this winter go faster!
Guys this was amazing! Some great fish you had there, looks like they fought really hard. Were you using 4 and 5 weights? And the scenery was so gorgeous as well. Another epic film. 11/10 guys.
Thanks, Aron! Yep, five-weights all the way. The fish in Lake Thingvellir especially fight like crazy, at least when the water temperature is rather warm (like it was when we visited in early August of 2014). You can compare it to fly fishing for bonefish on the flats... Totally crazy. Took about 200 yards of gelspun backing straight out. They are really fierce fighters.
Man you guys throw some long casts and land some hogs for using 5 weights! You do not see much of that in the area where I live, it is really impressive to see what is capable with that type of gear. Those fish are absolutely amazing, we don't have many fish around here that can run 200 yards on a tight drag, except maybe a big carp on a mission or a brute of a steelhead. Top notch stuff. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. I think in Norway you say, Takk for det ? Forgive me if it is not the most accurate thank you, I know very very little Norwegian!
These are really good films , no doubt the trout are the stars and what lovely fish they are too , stunning scenery as well , keep up the good work, I saw your comments on the lines you used , what are the rods and what lengths are they ?
Hi, Robert. Thanks for your kind words. If I remember correctly we mostly used 5-weights in this film. Occasionally a 7-weight for throwing big streamers, but mainly 5-weights for all our fishing. All 9 feet. Best regards Simen
You guys create beautifull videos. I can truly feel the spirit of flyfishing while watching your content. Cut and Music are obviously great aswell. What Kind of camera are u using?
Thanks! We are planning on ordering some new 5 panels, but for now they are sold out - will definitely let you know when they are back in stock. People seemed to love them. We got some other cool stuff in our web-shop though, so go take a look! www.tortflyfishing.com
Nummer tre har stått på vent en liten stund, men bør dukke opp om ikke så lenge. Takk for at du ser på filmene våre og takk for den hyggelige kommentaren.
Thanks, Gerald! We use a few different lines. In this film you mostly see the "Orvis Hydros HD Trout", "Guideline Presentation" and "Loop Evotec 100". All very good floating lines with different strengths and characteristics.
TØRT Fly Fishing Many thanks guy's, mine are all RIO very pleased .used to use cortland 444 for year's but things have moved on!!!.have subscribed, superb video's. Regards from GB.
