There’s also a Happy Hour app for Reykjavík. And if you couldn’t bring alcohol from duty free in departures, make sure to go to duty free in arrivals in Keflavik airport- alcohol and everything else is much cheaper there than buying anywhere else in Iceland.

I didn't! I'd planned for a leek and potato soup (recipe here - www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/vegetables-recipes/leek-and-potato-soup/) which didn't need blending but I couldn't resist using it when I saw it 🤣
