Lovely video, thanks for all the tips. Can you share more details of your itinerary, especially in terms of time spent driving & visiting each spot? I'm planning to visit in mid-sept and can only pick up the rental at 9am from Reykjavík, which means I would likely have to give up some spots.
Thank you! In total, it took about 10 hours. If you’re pressed for time, I would suggest skipping Geysir, Kerid Crater, and Laugarvatn. Thingvellir, Gullfoss, and Bruarfoss are must-see’s (in our opinion) and the drive is scenic enough! Going from Reykjavik to Gullfoss is under 2hours in one direction, so I would base your day on that. Enjoy!!
