The second half of the adventure into Iceland's Interior... a land of dramatic peaks, and Mordor like Landscapes. I am again adventuring with my good friends Thor, Thomas, Norm, Sean and Peter and adventure through the highlands and capture some of my favorite images I have ever captured in the land of Fire and Ice!

Nick. So often your videos simply blow me away. This is yet another one of them. As I'm watching, I'm just speechless and overwhelmed. I wonder if you know how much you inspire so many of us with your art. I hope you consider making a video of your processing and challenges with some of these files. Hi Nick, I am another one who's not very vocal, and not very English. (I am sicilian) 😅, but I like your videos a lot. Actually, I look forward to yours with the others like the Heaton, Gary, Hardcastle, and Henry... We have something in common, volcanos Mt Etna and Eolian islands, and the dynamics range light (I believe is called) its to much😢 I love your photo of the flowers as a foreground and then everything behind. I believe you use the technique of photo stacking, and unfortunately, I am USELESS on PS. Do you have a video tutorial on how to do this technique, for old people like me (thick😂) who freak out every time someone says PHOTOSHOP?? * I think Heaton, he should buy a better van with a better sense of humour!!!😂 Nick, I'm looking forward to your next adventure. Your video brings back memories from our visit in 2017. if someone were to ask me, "What is Iceland?", I would show them your pano at the 20 minute mark. It's a stunning image.

Awesomeness all round, made more dramatic with your mastery of post-processing...Ectoplasmic green goo complimenting those sinister skies. Nick, this is an amazing video. The drone shots are stunning and the images especially the one with the flowers in the foreground and the a pano with the moss, how that moss snake leads into the frame and the contrast between the moss and the black rock and the mountain as a background. This is so excellently done.

Its all so simple when you do this focus / exposure stacking; me i get confused when looking back at the images as to which is which and it takes ages in processing . Some great pano views from the mountian top --- makes the climb just about OK i find ;)

it certainly helps to do things in the same order every time, so when you get back you know what your looking at... for me, I usually always start in the background.. then work towards the foreground... so I know that dark exposure is where I image set starts.

I visited Iceland in November. Absolutely fantastic place to be. In regards to these pictures i am not sure about the sky. It's too much HDR. Too much prosing, too much contrast. It doesn't look like that in nature. I know Mordor etc but... What do you think?

Up to now, most of the Iceland landscape photography videos I've seen have been kind of, "yeah, that's nice but it's all so cold..." (well, it's Iceland, after all! duhh). The images are very good, make no mistake, but they often don't really connect with me. But this video of all these green summertime images is stunning! It's just 'alien' enough to be interesting, but familiar enough to be inviting, all with endless detail. Some of the grand vistas I could just examine for hours, it seems. Really, really nice stuff Nick!
