I definitely have an issue with the Inequality when it comes to women working Construction, Truck Driving, Plumbing, Garbagemen, Electrical work, Landscaping, Active on ground combat in the Military, Oil rigs, Mechanics etc lolz YES get these ladies working these jobs and heck pay them more than the men!!!😂😂 I want to see this Child/Spousal Support do a 180 so the men can get paid now. Id love to fkn see that so PLEASE PLEASE get them higher pay and equal opportunity to work these jobs above asap.

First of all, no job is the same with another job even if two people are in the same industry, same company, same department, same team, same title and same job duties. So, to have equal pay for the same job is already overlooked a lot of details. And that is ignoring job performance and achievements. Secondly, there are countless reports and real-life facts that disproven the unequal pay by gender. Last but not least, are we all forgetting that anyone can identify as any gender nowadays and we all have to respect that? So unequal pay by gender is a useless conversation when anyone can identify as any gender at any time.

@@jeremygibbs7342 you just answered your own question lol: "Assuming the productivity is equal". Why do you think the discrepancy in wages cannot be explained by productivity or hundreds more reason other than gender discrimination? Plus, productivity does not equal nor automatically translate to results or value. A person can have way more productivity but if their products aren't value as much in society, they will earn less money. That is the true.

So it was simple, I do the dishes every night because I'm the one who gets bothered by a sink full of dishes in the morning. My girlfriend gets bothered if the clothes hamper is full, but I could care less. Here is where the real difference between men and women gets exposed. If the clothes hamper is left full then my girlfriend will complain rigorously about the wash needing to be done instead of just throwing the clothes in the wash. So the compromise is, I throw the clothes in the wash every saturday, and every tuesday and thursday when she complains about the clothes hamper being full I grab a beer and make some popcorn and watch as she loses her mind over it. It's always entertaining.

The women at my place of employment are responsible for most of the delays in task completion because they bring their home drama to work. They will then require you to listen to how it impacts their ability to be productive at work and how they have to have their cell phones on in case the kids call from school and they will then have to chat with the other women about the best ways to handle life outside of work. If they are a single mom than they become dependent on having regular chats and discussions, typically while working, because they don't have a man at home to discuss things with. This behavior impacts men who want to focus on task completion, but suffer interruptions because they don't want to be rude or disrespectful to any woman (it's the South, so there is some residual chivalry and courtesy). In my opinion, an all male workforce in my industry could probably produce twice the work in the same amount of time we currently have.

Meanwhile all the men who were at work were smiling wondering if every monday could be mandatory paid day off for women. The men could then work their arses off all day with through the roof productivity and then at the end of the day use that unused wing of the building (Human Resources) for a big party since it would become obsolete on mondays. Hire some strippers for entertainment and free beer for all who worked at least 10 hours on the day. Mondays would become so popular at work that companies would have to implement policies forcing the men to go home for at least an hour.

so at 4.11 the women are saying that they have the same opportunities and chances as men and that they 'feel it in their bones' for STEM type roles, BUT they then still CHOOSE to do the lower paid job roles? so as Jordan Petersen says all the time, when given choice in an egalitarian society, women generally choose to do 'caring' roles, ie roles based around people and men generally choose to take roles based around 'things'. The issue is then its choice that leads to this so called inequality. And public sector jobs around the world are always paid less overall than jobs in industry and commerce. But those women could have chosen to do the higher paying roles and that would then have closed the so called 'gender pay gap' but they CHOOSE not to. The real issue is then are the salaries for public sector roles paid sufficiently?? But remember if you work in any sector, in most societies, people are PAID exactly the same for the roles they work in, so there is NO pay gap between genders based on job roles - its only when you compare different job types it appears, and that is clearly a choice based gap.

Complete/perfect/total gender equality is impossible because of our innate differences. We have different proclivities, interests/preferences, strengths and weaknesses. advantages and disadvantages. These differences are a big part of the reason for our different life circumstances and outcomes, and, in general, there's nothing wrong with that. Some of these differences benefit you, some of them don't. That's life. No one can have all the advantages. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

They want equal *outcomes* which is not the same as equal opportunities. Want the same pay? Work the same hours, at the same jobs. Stop measuring pay as the total for the year. Measure it by number of hours worked vs amount of pay. Thee BBC did, and found they were *underpaying* men. If you choose to work in safer, cleaner jobs, for fewer hours, and not on holidays or other overtime situations, you will be paid less overall. That applies to men also. The fact that many of the highest paying jobs aren't one women choose to work at has nothing to do with pay gaps. It is about choices. The jobs they prefer, on average, have lower pay, on average.

Queries 1. What are their demands? Saying gender equality is vague. 2. If a woman doesnt work and does house work, she is getting paid by food, house rent, clothes, etc. If she is working and also does house work, yes she should be paid for that. 3. Gender pay gap, if its because of gender only yes it should be rectified. But that is never the case. We literally heard that women make up most of teachers and health care workers. So choice of work, how many hours are being put in, etc matter. 4. Women chose to work in undervalued fields. They have a female PM, and 50% cabinet members are women. With women taking the highest office positions, i doubt it is cuz of stigma or some bias. Also, then gender equality should be applied in fields of manual work. Why should men only do the hard and life threatening work 5. Sexual assult laws can be made harsher, but due process should never be removed.
