Already looking at tickets after seeing this video. A lot of Iceland videos out there and this one is by far the best I have seen. Great Cinematic video
@@SimonBraeck you are welcome. Just curious I am looking at getting a gopro Hero 7 black or the silver, which one do you use for your vlogging camera? if you don't mind me asking
I usually put my gear in the description of my videos :) I mainly use a Sony A7R iii and recently I’ve started to use a Sony RX100 VI. I haven’t used GoPro in a while, but the new stabilization system in the Hero 7 Black seems insane!
I visited Iceland in 2016. Amazing country with extraordinary places. Definitely will visit again. Very nice video, amazing job, you gave me more ideas. Keep up with the good work.
Stunning filming and review on why we should go to Iceland! It’s on our to do list, you’ve just made it head towards the top! Thanks for sharing, very much liked 😀👍💕
Wow thanks a lot for the feedback! Hope you get to go sooner rather than later. I know some places are closing for tourist to allow vegetation to grow back. Cheers!😃
Fantastic video that did the country justice. Ever since visiting the country I will always feel longing when watching videos like these thinking back to my brief time there...
Wow, thank you😃 My upload rate is not good enough so I guess I get what I deserve haha. Trying to upload more frequent now, excited to see if it will help!
I've seen so many pictures of Iceland. The stunning landscapes are the reason why I'd visit and explore, similar to my desire to explore much more of Norway. It's perfect for my medieval-inspired self portrait series!
Thanks mate! Haha, yeah that came out of nowhere. We were taking photos hanging out of the window, and then the driver got surprised by a sneaker wave that ended up splashing the entire car. It was fun though😂
German Korb it’s coming along nicely! It’s currently left at a shop who specializes in fabrics, they will fix our worn front seats and possibly the pop-up roof fabric. I wanted to wait until this work is done before I release episode 2, but it might be weeks until it’s done. Will try to get episode 2 done asap :)
Awesome video! Just came back from Iceland and it's as wonderful as you say it is! I made a video about our trip myself, but I hope my editing skills will one day be as good as yours! Great video, great editing! 👍
@@SimonBraeck hehe I knew you would say that! :) The first video I watched of your channel was when you surprised your partner with the NZ surprise and I remember how you said you wished NZ was closer! I'm going for a 3 week campervan trip to the South Island of NZ (my second trip) in a few months so I'm getting all new gear, Mavic 2 pro, peak designs bag and gears, a new camera (hence all the Sony a7riii questions lol), new lenses etc. Iceland seems has such dramatic landscapes and scenaries, perfect for filming! I want to get into videography more now that the technology is simply amazing, I mostly do photography www.flickr.com/photos/alandelmas/ do you have a instagram account btw? :)
Oh man, now I get jealous... Seems like a solid setup, very capable! Iceland is really beautiful, but the weather in NZ was way nicer haha. I’ll check out your flickr page, my instagram is «simonbraeck» :)
Simon Braeck want to swap sides for a few weeks then? 😂 I feel like I would need more time to cover Europe though, Faroe Islands and Scotland is another similar place to go like Iceland.
Awesome. wanted to know how you got the shot in the beginning with Iceland title. Is that a 200mm lens? One beautiful pic. Need to frame that one. I need to go back again ASAP. What were some of the secret locations?
Thanks! It’s actually taken with my Sony RX100 VI, zoomed in quite a bit. Really happy with the outcome on the images from that camera, as I don’t have a full frame 70-200mm lens.
Well, the locations are unnamed for a reason😇 Hoping to keep them hidden for a while longer. You can DM me on instagram and I might reveal one. Cheers!
Thanks mate! It’s because tourism is sky rocketing really fast and the number of visitors are as mentioned 10x the population. This means more crowds, more wear and tear on popular locations (some are actually shut down because of this). Hope that makes sense. Cheers!😊
@@SimonBraeck that makes sense. But if I were to give some constructive criticism I would say it should be ever more clearly conveyed in the video. Looking forward to what you come up with next!
