@Julio Caesar Actually that word is very easy, no hard phonemes. Some words as 'amanhã, trabalho, or even my name João', are really harder for non-native speakers.
that's the regular term people from Portugal usually use to refer to the Brazilian accent when they wanna bully us, they say we speak "Brazilian language"

@@sInOtNaTheoanorthosi it's probably because is some word from old greek or latin (i think is from greek: Ous/Ears; Rhinós/Nose; Larynx/Larynx; Logon/"Study?"; look at the rhino, it's because of the horn on the nose, rhinós, and in portuguese it's RINOceronte)

Hi Hrafna! In Swedish sj=sj sound as you discovered. It allso applies with stj, skj, and (before front vowels) sk. s. Otherwise it's just a "normal s". :) Also it would be cool if you sometime discussed the game Jotun, where they speak Icelandic!
@@MrZarewna It was considered by a centre of languages from somewhere it's the 2nd hardest language due to the grammar rules and the pronunciacion mainly and some other else factors
@@sergiosantos815 It's very similar to other nordic languages so I have to disagree. Also, Finnish was mentioned as the 2nd hardest language. It has a lot more varied language rules.

In Southern Brazil 5 years ago, my sister used to make fun of me for not being able to say Paralelepípedo 😂😂 and I rememeber getting so mad at her for it
these words are high german, there are more german dialects than just high german [standard german]. low german dialects pronounce the r thrilled, just like in icelandic, not with the throaty r that modern high german absorbed from french. modern high german is becoming less german everyday, with all the nonsense borrowing of elements from other languages and even whole words from english

After listening to the translator you nearly nailed the pronunciation of "Kugelschreiber". It's just that our "r" as an uvular consonant sounds a little different and less remarkable (and less beautiful ;-)) than the Icelandic version of the letter. As a rule, our "u" sounds like your "ú" and our diphtong "ei" sounds like your "æ". I am currently learning Icelandic. Although it's really tough, it's fun to discover the parallels to German. While the grammar seems impossible to master, I find it comparably easy to pick up the pronuniciation ... well, except for the letters "ð", "l" and "r". In general, the complexity levels of those two languages seem to be comparable.

You said "Maganda" with your own accent which sounds pretty cool. Our language was not hard to read because of the characters, English Alphabet, and the pronunciations were very basic. But with our native characters, Alibata. It will be a challenge even for us Filipinos.

In Swedish 🇸🇪 the letter-combination "sj" is pronounced like a Spanish j as in the video and sometimes "sk" is as well (in words like "sköta", "skylla", "skicka", "sked").
Good job with the Norwegian one! Some people say it like «reinskapsfører», but some actually pronounce the ‘g’ in «regnskapsfører», so you kinda got it right!:)
Actually you're pronunciation of "paralelepipedo" was almost perfect....and that is not one of the easiest words in our language....O_O....congratulations....
