They are probably different than others they have shown to have different opinions and not fight for Aizen Coyote for other reason didn't want to fight for Aizen because he's seen to shown remorse for the soul reapers and respect but if he didn't attack the soul reapers Aizen would've probably Killed Stark just like he did with Tosen after he fought with Komamura and Hasagi Uquiorra on the other hand is that he doesn't shown to have any means of what a human heart is you know the love and comfort one another and he is kinda lonely when Ichigo finally defeated Ulquiorra Ulquiorra finally understood what a human heart is at the end.
Do you know what is it that makes Ulquiorra's death all the more heart-wrenching? The realisation that like all Hollows, before he became one, he was once a human. He didn't understand what it truly meant to have a heart and what its power was until he died. But as he died, he finally understood what it meant to love. In other words, without even knowing it, as he died, he regained his humanity.
Yep. Basically, the free will Ulquiorra seemed to chide Ichigo for having came back here, given he was someone willing to blindly listen to Ichigo's request, but how he reacts when Ichigo refused to kill him due to the frustration he felt about White taking control and doing what he did bothering him big time.
There were some really deep shit in this show which is why it's stayed for so long in the hearts of so many. Another one of my favorite moments is his fight against White and his inner battle when learning the Final Getsuga Tensho.
@@Aussi97 makes no sense at all what you just said. First of all, why would he just walk away? Second, Aizen wanted them to fight. And even after beating him he still blew a hole through the mans chest. He didn’t have to do that. So he definitely had no right to speak about mercy.
@@crescentcitygaming I just got done with his backstory. That statement was toward the harsh nature of a hollow, but he definitely wasn't asking for mercy. Bleach is a lot deeper than you think.
To be fair, Kyora wasn't fighting seriously from the start, and it's common knowledge in Bleach that if you behead a Hulu, it dies instantly, Kyora was able to, but cut off the horn instead.
I always felt for Ulquiorra and Grimmjow but Ulquiorra more so... Grimmjow at least got his redemption arc but Ulquiorra was never able to. His whole character is based off of "emptiness" and "despair" with not even a loose concept of what empathy is or even how the heart works. Not until his final breath does he begin to understand it's true meaning through his connection to Orihime, gradually turning him more human. Only for him to die immediately after... He's gotta be the most complex and interesting Espada of them all and my personal favorite. I always wished that he would be reborn somehow or brought back and that he and Grimmjow would now be on the heroes team kicking ass and looking bad ass while doing it! I always really liked his complex friendship with Orihime and really really like the idea of her helping him to adjust to the world and becoming even more "human" and helping him possibly find some solace in his life finally. All the while Grimmjow and Ichigo become mortal frenemies and constantly fighting each other to prove who is better. The Arrancar Arc had to be the greatest Arc and there was no way Tite could ever one up that epic story. He should have ended there but I do love the fact that he was able to give us Ichigo and Orihime and Rukia and Renji cannon confirmed, with beautiful children to show for it ❤ I know I'm probably gonna get hate for saying that but I genuinely adored those pairing together since before these dreaded shipping wars wayy back when Bleach was first released. Kazui and Ichika are adorable 🥰 Bless your poor unfortunate soul Ulquiorra where ever fictionalized Underworld you have ended up in. Of all the Anime characters that had ever fallen in the line of battle, you were one of the ones that I wished the most had had a different ending....
The only takeaway is that while Ulquiorra’s current existence is over, it may not be the end of his soul When a Hollow dies, their corrupted soul is purified and turn back into a human soul It’s not specificed what happens when Arrancars die, whether they die as Hollows or Soul Reapers but there’s a chance Ulquiorra May revert to the human he once was
9:30 "Now where could you have possibly been hiding that dagger? Naughty little thing, aren't you?" lmao, but gotta give her credit to actually being able to cut Yammy
@@animeghost1484the ichigo in this fight was fully healed, and can block ulqi cero(which is stronger, faster, and more powerful then noritora cero) so from that alone je can prob mid diff -high diff noritora
No matter how many times i watch this fight i will never get tired of seeing these two fight at full strength and seeing ichigo in his second hollow state is always badass
Ulqiorra is very young. He stated the Getsuga wont have an effect on him, but that's only when he's able to block, evidend by the fact he did took slight damage by a direct hit of a blade without Getsuga Tesnho. Get what i mean? Also, his talking why Orihime didnt tried to block every Attack of him is also stupid. Overall: He seems very young in mind, if you ask me.
Since Ulquiorra signifies (Emptiness & Despair) is normal to assimilate that he lived a sad and lonely life and without a purpose once Aizen came into the picture he gave some kind of purpose to his life by asking him to protect LAS NOCHES he never had friends just comrades once he meet Orihime he started developing those feelings (friendship) on his passing and once Orihime stretched out her hand he understood that a heart are feelings that make your soul warm and happy and that's why I believe he said in the end that his heart was on his hand. Still a sad moment for one the greatest anime characters. 😔 😢
Ulquiorra was confirmed to have romantic type of feelings for Orihime not just friendship, I think he really felt a lot of newthings after meeting her and Ichigo. I´m glad Ulquiorra was capable of "feelings" even if it was moments before his dead. Starrk and Grimmjow, both felt really human to me too.
@Rebeca Mendez Yeah but to have ROMANCE you need 2 people you cannot be just romantically involved by yourself otherwise is called a crush and that's what he fell a crush for Orihime she never implied that she felt something for him.
@@caesarroe1283 No, thats why Unrequited love and One sided love exist, I said HIS feelings probably went to that side but I never said anything about Orihime, She obviously is devoted to Ichigo. I could argue that you calling it friendship is also wrong because Hime never considered him a friend either.
@Rebeca Mendez there is no such thing as unrequited love !! Ulquiorra wanted to know what a heart was in the previous fight with Ichigo he stated am I able to react to your attacks because I'm becoming a hollow? Then ichigo continue I think I'm able to read your attacks because you are becoming MORE HUMAN is obvious that Ulquiorra hearts was already changing . Also Ulquiorra said you tossed around the word heart so casually kinda like you are doing now saying (unrequited love)
"Compose yourself, you must hold your stance, extend your consciousness, do not let your guard down" lmao i find that so funny that he warned him like that lol Ichigo gotta go into a higher level of consciousness just to try to understand whats about to happen to him im sure he was just as lost as he was when he first experienced Senbon Sakura the night he got his soul reaper powers lmao i like Ulquiorra he was cool
Man Ulquiorra speech to Orohime is always one I remember outta all the Anime I’ve ever seen. It’s clear the Ulquiorra is definitely missing something in the inside and it’s probably why his voice is so monotone and why he follows Aizen so loyally. Dude just wanted to find his place 😢
Bruh and it's idiotic that she was trying to reach schiffer when she was married to ichigo in the end I was pissed out ...makes me feel like orihime betraying ichigo
@@vortex2713 Ulquiorra and orihimes relationship is not what you think it is. Ulquiorra was finally starting to understand humans and have some type of emotions. And when oriheme reached out to Ulquiorra she was sympathizing with him because the time she spent with him she started to more of his personality. She felt like Ulquiorra had a good heart he just didn't understand humans.
@@alexanderjudkins3885 She blamed herself for Ichigo becoming a Hollow trying to save her. You could see it in her eyes and in that look on her face when she heard Ichigo’s voice.
Ulquiorra literally just said "I don't see it, it ain't real" which is basically just peak denial Also anyone else like how in the sub Hollow Ichigo sounds like a wild beast, while in the dub he sounds like the tortured souls of Hell?
Ulquiorra without a shadow of a doubt places 4th with his first release. If hitsugaya kept up with halibel for any amount of time, he could handle ulquoirra in his first release. Id wager his second release puts him greater than 3rd but less than 2nd
@@ertren6 Not a chance. Even Ulquiorra's fighting style is different than Halibel's. She was toying with Toshiro the entire time and Released for fun. Ulquiorra is far more direct. Toshiro would get overwhelemed by an Unreleased Ulq in my opinion. And 2nd Release Ulquiorra is above Starrk. All you have to do is look at their destructive capabilities side by side and it's a no brainer.
I love ulquiorra but it just doesn't make any sense whatsoever that he had to go into second release so soon. He was dominating the fight and could have ended it quickly
Main reason he went into second state is because he got pissed that ichigo wouldn’t give up and drop his sword he went into second state to be petty he wanted to show ichigo the power difference to force ichigo to be consumed with despair and hopelessness
He didn’t have to, he was using it to prove a point to Ichigo about how hopeless the fight was. Ulquiorra was stylin’ on Ichigo but his Hollow had something to say about it.
He did it to more or less crap on ichigos pride and destroy his will to fight by showing him the difference in their powers. He wanted him to feel everything he embodied which was despair. If Ichigo could manage to stay alive during his first release, he would decimate any hope of that with his second.
I thought it was pretty evident and a great character moment for Ulquiorra. He was petty and spiteful towards Ichigo's hard will of steel so he wanted to overcome that will by showing him his second state, despite already more than proving that he couldn't be stopped by him in his first release. It's the reason he showed Ichigo his Number 4 in their first fight, cause Ichigo believed him to be the leader of the Espada and all he needed to do was beat HIM and everything would be over. By making him believe their were stronger Espada than him, he drowns his hopes into despair. He wants to make him give up on his own. Ulquiorra doesn't understand the human heart and love or any emotions of the sort. His exposure to Orihime and Ichigo and, in his mind, their frailty in the face of adversity is so pathetic and weak, he wants to shatter their "illusion" of hope. Reveal it to be worthless. But at the same time he's learning human emotions from them. So, in his confusion, he lashes out in spite many times against Ichigo in this fight because he wants to prove he's right in the end about everything.
@@RulerOfYore Yeah, Ichigo should have done that sooner. Just to get past Ulquiorra, then one shot Yammy and the girls. I bet he'd be strong enough to do so.
If I understand correctly when zangetsu manifested it was still only the small part that the old man couldn't suppress goes to show how powerful zangetsu really is
I don't know why but my favorite form of ichigo is his Vasto Lorde form....I think it is because of his rage that I like it so much.....however I wish the fight could have ended differently, I would rather have wanted uilquiorra to join Ichigo them than die like this.😢
15:00 The way he said that breaks me, because villains always say that but you know the hero is gonna win, but in this battle, it actually is. Ichigo had to go hollow to beat him, but the despair reverberates in his words cause this is like the only time he really raises his voice.
You uh, you know homie had a hole blown through his chest that orihime couldn't heal and no one not even Ichigo knew about white inside him except Aizen. He wanted Ichigo to drown in despair and prove him right.
5:02 “I see. You must feel very proud just being able to keep up at this level. Let’s see how long that will last you.” (Additional booming layer of motherfucking spiritual pressure) That line, mixed with the ice cold stare. Chills down my spine.
I wonder what happens to all the souls that make up a Menos when they die? Like the amount of paperwork, the soul society would have to do if a 10th of them didn’t go to hell.
They should have kept the howling roar from the sub … It was so badass and empowered the viewer of this beast like persona ……Instead of the howling noise he is making in the dub Vasto lorde form Still a badass episode
Love Ulquiorra but hate his ship with Orihime, she belonged to Ichigo back then and now it's canon. suits me well, Inoue is my type of girl. Physically and mentally.
Honestly, I think it would be satisfying if Ichigo enters his horn of salvation form and just ends it almost immediately, just to prove he can win on his own without Zangetsu needing to take over. It’d be hard to top this fight, and it’s not like Ulquiorra would have much reason to fight Ichigo after this anyway.
It’s how he’s killing him that rubs Uruyu the wrong way. Hollow Ichigo is taking over and is on the verge of crossing Ichigo fully as a monster, killing Ulquiorra that way may cause Hollow Ichigo to dominate him forever
@@kelltaylor5774 Top 4 espada in fist releases were comparable because they could all destroy las noches without the use of gran rey cero Ulqiorra`s lanza del relmpago was in fact so powerful, the explosion of it dwarfs both vasto lorde`s cero and his cero oscuras combined. To put it into persepctive, his oscuras in murcielago form oscuras, without the intent to kill ichigo but to make him give up,covered more than half the dome of las noches. His second release is 10x more powerful and then you add vasto lordes cero which was able to scatter/match the oscuras. Durability wise its quite posible he could survive VL`s cero,as without the usage of his wings nor making his hierro stronger, ``only`` half of his body got destroyed. So he could tank an attack that is more than enough to destroy entire las noches. There is absoloutley no way he is only 4. Harribel being stronger than him is just ridicilous.
@@aleksamilosevic8792ulquiorra was fighting an ichigo who almost lost to grimmjow, ofc he would stomp him. When ichigo turned into zangetsu he blocked lanza de relampago with one hand and cero oscuras was completely wiped out by zangetsu's cero. When zangetsu's cero hit ulquiorra he couldn't regenerate his limbs fully and he started dying before he could finish the fight... from getting hit by one cero. Ulquiorra looks so strong because hes being scaled from a considerable weaker ichigo zangetsu completely outclassed him. The ranks are based on physical strength and reiastu anyway so techniques aren't really considered. If it were all based on techniques then baragan would be number 1 because he has age manipulation.
Ulqiorra is very young. Slevin Channel C' mon don't be stupid I bet you have little knowledge in bleach, look at the part 4:40 when Ichigo stated that your becoming human Ulquiorra at that moment was pissed and increased his power and also his "hiero" or armor, then Ichigo started to use his Getsuga, as you can see it has no effects to ulquiorra cause of the power increased on time 4:40 and later. Ichigo can't do anything to save Orihime while the two hollow girls ripping her clothes off because Ulquiorra won't let him even with his getsuga wrapped all over his sword.
Sleven Channel Ulquiorra can finish Ichigo any time he wants to, but why he won't do it because Ulquiorra was trying to analyze what humans call "Heart." When Ulquiorra was on his first released he don't want to finish Ichigo cause he wants to understand love or feelings (Heart) and Ulquiorra, wants Ichigo to understand that it can't help him to win. When Ulquiorra finally understood that no matter how hard he tries to demonstrate his power to Ichigo, Ichigo will not surrender because of love or the heart even if it's impossible, that's the time he decided to finally finished him.
One of the most satisfying deaths in the series. Not because of Ulquiorra himself i used to think he was kind of cool, but by god his fanbase is insufferable and have turned me off big to him.
Vasto Lorde alone wouldn't have been enough to defeat Aizen, however white and Zangetsu combined probably would have ended Aizen. It's still just a *probably* because Aizen's Hogyoku can adapt and make him stronger time to time, for example if he fought Vasto Lorde Hollow Ichigo his Hogyoku would have adapted and overpower him. On the other hand, Vasto Lorde would have still pretty much killed first form Aizen, (base) if they met, however Aizen is too fast for Vasto Lorde Ichigo even in his first form and his regeneration abilities even surpass Ulquiorra's. Since Mugetsu Ichigo cut him in half and the Hogyoku yet again adapted. Aizen is a crazy strong enemy, and something like a simple Vasto Lorde (that he planned btw bc he made white as a hollow, and also saw all of ichigo's fights, bc it was stated by him all of Ichigo's battles took place in the palm of his hand, which is crazy) wouldn't have been enough to defeat him, let alone damage him badly. Another reason Vasto Lorde would've lost is bc Aizen is really smart and has a plan for everything, while Hollow Ichigo is just an animal, fighting with pure killing instinct. So in short, no. He wouldn't be able to kill Aizen.
Hollow Ichigo’s strength varies over time the more Ichigo himself grows stronger as shown with the mask design The vasto lorde form Is the apparent full power of Hollow Ichigo’s strength
@@bingobongo8701 Putting up a fight, yes. Actually defeating Aizen, no. Aizen is hella smart and, as far as Soul Reapers go, is basically max level on reiatsu, swordsmanship, awareness, and even kido. Only someone like Yamamoto can take him out legitimately, which is why he had Wonderweiss as his countermeasure.
I always wonder why didnt the other espada uses Cero Obscuras apart from Ulquirra, and why didnt the other espada use Gran Rey Cero apart from Grimjaw?
Obscuras is just Ulquiorra's Gran Rey, named after the particular color of his reitsu. And the big 3 do, if I recall. They just don't make as big of a show out of it. Starrk has his blue variant, for example. Standard ceros were almost always classic red.
@@thebananas6483 Many espada use a non red cero. Noitora, ulquira, stark, halibel. Even Charlotte (Baragan's fracion) cero is pink. What separate a normal cero and a gran rey cero is the addition of blood into the cero. We dont see any other espada adds blood into their attack
One the badass fights in beach and at the end one the emotional moment's in anime. ulquiorra death is poetic. He lived empty, now his nothing but full. But I really wanted him to live, seriously why couldn't orihime use her powers to heal him.
Ulquiorra was technically already dead after taking a Cero point blank from Vasto Lorde Ichigo. No amount of regeneration could reverse that much damage...
Orohime and Ichigo compels him as they rub him a certain way He wants to see human feelings as inferior or unnecessary as those two are a paragon of human passion He wanted to prove them wrong by breaking them down, talking as if he’s trying to convince himself But more fight goes on the more he’s starting to feel himself and see the result of human emotion with the fight’s conclusion
Tbh ichigo only got beef with ulqui because he called him trash when they first met and he's jealous of ulqui cuz he know if ulqui was one of his classmates he would be cooler and more edgier than him 😆. Ulqui gets all the bitches
