Ichimoku is very powerful when one understands it properly in all the essence(that is the most dificult part) Thank you , Hosoda! Much respect for your ancestor and to you for sharing the knowledge!

From my experience Chikou is the most important because it's the one that validates/invalidates analysis from other lines and price action interactions and the one that makes Ichimoku so special among other systems.

great video, y started using ichimoku about 7 years ago and tried other strategies and indicators but none of them are so powerful and reliable . once u get used with it is very simple.

Thank you, was the ichimoku method with default settings only applicable for daily. How about other time frames (weekly and up as well as intraday (15m and below). Would default settings still make sense

By the way I was wondering why you are calling their instruments in Japanese even though you are using them in English lol! keep making videos I love them. If I hadn’t seen the English (rōmaji) first, I would have thought “Ichimoku” was “hitome” as in 一目惚れ (love at first sight). I wonder how many times I’ve been reading 一目 as ひとめ from about 1985 to about 2009 in cases in which it actually should have been イチモク. Since I was a 日英翻訳者 for many Japanese banks and other companies on the Tokyo Stock Exchange while I was working at 凸版印刷株式会社 throughout the 1990s, chances are fairly high that I mispronounced 一目 in a few cases, and I would have been looking at the wrong place in the dictionary before electronic dictionaries became available.

Hey Kei I have a question brother maybe you can help me so I want to know if once everything is met for example when chikou span breaks out of the cloud and tenkan and kijun cross bullish and future cloud is green now if chikou span re-enters the cloud is that a sign to close out of the market or should I hold? I use the chikou span as a exit strategy when it enters above price if it’s bearish or below when price is bullish thank you kei your information on ichimoku helps me so much brother thank you

Wait, Kei san. Isn't the Kijun the line above the Tenkan sen when bullish and vice versa? In my charts I have the kijun as blue and Tenkan as red. I get confused about your colored lines..
