I think miyata is sometimes an underrated character. This character is undervalued due to the unattractiveness of some of the characters we encounter in the series and the lack of an ippo vs miyata match. A boxer who has been through as much hardship as Volg and is as hard-working as Ippo. Also your editing is great.
"The counter style is weak, miyata gonna loose. Why won't you cancel the fight" Miyata' trainer "I know. I don't think miyata is going to make weight, his style is weak, his opponent is strong, and the jury is against us. The only way miyata could win is knockout, but his style specialised on points superiority, but jury aren't going to give him points. He won't make it, it's nearly impossible for him to make weight, it's nearly impossible for him to win by score, it's impossible for him to go for a knockout. He will loose" His father "Miyata looks exhausted. He lost so much weight, and even so it's not enough, he haven't eaten 4 days now, haven't drank anything in 2 days, he's close to just falling unconscious. Why are you doing those things to yourself Miyata, why do you box ?" The boy who was on his side "Everything and everyone is against me. No one believe in me making the weight. Nobody believes in me winning. Nobody wants to see me winning. I know my style weak in terms of knockouts. I'm going to loose........ But even so i want to fullfil my dream, I want to show everyone my styles effectiveness. I want to compete with Makunoichi. I must box" Miyata
@@neelzen9975ehh, he had a losing streak after losing to Mashiba in a dirty match (which wasn't even that long after he debuted as a pro), plus his brutal weight control.
Till this day i still don't dare to execute the Jolt Counter, it's a very risky counter and if you don't time it correctly you can get punched in the chin or temple and could get knoked down. I personally prefer the step back and then counter with a 1-2 or duck and then counter with an upercut i allways prefer to counter after i dodge the incoming punches, to time them at the same time that a punch is coming is really risky and could not work allways even for pros. We can see the jolt counter executed by Juan Manuel Marquez against Manny Paquiao in the last mach they had and he knoked him out cold. To this date i am still looking to perfect the jolt rear hand counter as a sowthpaw against the jab of orthodox fighters i am perfectly conscious it could level up my skill of boxing to another whole level.
