@ theone andonly----------Cardano would more than likely be the safest peer reviewed, pos secure, government regulatory style blockchain for them to use. Cardano dots all the i's and crosses all the T's. They will be trusted by the old school industry. It is not 100% ready yet, but the ability to switch over to Cardano's blockchain from etherium is already built into the Cardano blockchain code because they foresaw the ability to steal away business from etherium with their better code when it hits the market at the end of the year. The wallet and the crypto main net is already up and running. My bet would be that when mass adoption occurs... Cardano will get the lion's share of this benefit that your post above was asking about.

Getting tired of hearing about the SEC all the time. As far as I'm concerned they've had nothing but a negative effect on the entire market. By the time institutional money arrives, it's a big players game. The little guy will be forced to buy the institutional players coins at 5-10x on exchanges since the little guy in the U.S. can't invest in ico's anymore. Thank God for ico pools. I recommend every investor in the U.S. that isn't accredited form or join an ico pool. Crypto wasn't designed to keep enriching the rich, it's for everyone. The whole idea of being an accredited investor is a joke. The only credentials required to achieve that title are that you're already a high net worth individual. If they wanted to be fair, they'd provide an onramp for becoming an accredited investor through acquiring a license or certification. But no, this country's laws are put in place to favor the have's over the have-not's.

Joined the ranks of the TokenGo platform a week ago, invested at a minimum, but despite this, the bounty did not work very hard to earn a good number of tokens. If that is not clear admins will always answer and help in any question interesting you.
How much revenue does EOS produce everyday? How much real profit it makes for this asset/coin owners? :D In economic terms these are mostly projects with potential to be great waste of ppl money... How much money you rise is not so important as prospects of this project to be profitable in a reasonable time frame. Right?

The whole asset backed discussion has a fundamental flaw. What is the asset backed by? By overpriced real estate prices this coin should be priced in the negative....meaning they should give you money to take the coin on the ICO! ;) Only asset based cryptos can bubble in the first place! This is what these people don't understand. Bitcoin was never backed by anything so the term "bubble" is not even applicable. There is no difference between a coin at 10cents and 100K for a true crypto currency. The only way none asset backed crypto's become worthless is thru regulation and the government declaring it to be worthless.
Gigaloader well if it was just real estate you’re right it’s worthless bc every house technically House has the same “value”, close to 0. This is bc houses don’t generate cash flow on a consistent basis. However, hotel real estate does, and therefore have value. Not sure where I stand on this and I just don’t understand why you couldn’t list the shares as a company and trade it on an exchange so it seems that the owner of this hotel is greedy and wants exuberance to feed into the price of the coin and convince others to give him more money than necessary.

The coin has no room to move because it is overvalued at ICO stage already..... this is a worse investment than Bitconnect. Market decides if it's overpriced or not - not you. It's only your opinion - time wil tell what is reality. They sell part of ownership - so they gain capital for investment here - and it will be used to grow bussiness. USA is all one big All-bubble. You can have implosion anywhere... also tapering can soon end and you can get helicopter-money to keep bubble for years while deflating assep prices by inflation on cost of all dollar users and taxpayers... it's not like that printed money will never spill on streets it actually is pouring now... US problem is not that debt really - because every crisis anulates it making everybody poorer - but problem is weak american demography (if you not count immigrants - it's a pure disaster!) which will make it very hard to stand up from the ground in the future (no chances for a post-war like boom, ever because of cultural reasons). PS Also controlled crash on WallStreet will also anulate big part of debt - because it's exactly where that printed mney was going in the first place...

Don't know about that, but I can imagine that if IPOs are going to be replaced by ICOs, then a lot of them will just use a decentralised blockchain so they wouldn't have to build a blockchain themselves or trust some others centralised blockchain.

I think you misunderstand some of the people behind the idea of distributed, information distributed and decentralized worlds, that is not Anarchy! what they want is total transparency the ability to fact-check any institution or government or service and the positions either invest or not invest and when invested the ability to take, action in a company's decision of its own Direction, this is about accountability efficiency Trust, and when those things are applied there is a giant pot of gold at the end of that rainbow that these companies can all be sharing in by dividing a little bit of their profit margin to the expected customer of who they're trying to sell to.

Real estate coins in a period when real estates are pumped and overpriced at record braking levels seems like a good idea to invest in .... NOOOOOT !!! I'm pro-crypto, but real estate baloon from 2008. rings a bell loud and clear. And just like then, it's a perfect opportunity to lose money BIG time. I can't believe they are doing this again, like it never happened before.
It would be in our best interest for this to succeed though, if ICOs can start to replace IPOs and become the new securities standard, that will disrupt wallstreet as much as crypto currencies, meaning trillions moving into the space. Wishing them luck
I'm afraid that their intentions are not aligned in direction of ICO's replacing IPO's, but more in the direction: "How can we extract as much cash as we can from the crypto world enthusiasts." Never underestimate human greed, because they've done pretty much everything to reduce the money coming in and maximize the ways of cash coming out to them, either by bans and seizing capital, or taxes and regulations, or detracting people from investing in anything other than stocks and financial markets (which they control/manipulate). This is pretty much a troyan horse in it's purest form.
Possibly, or they are wanting to take part in a new global market, with the ability of trading their shares 24/7. It also bypasses the hefty wall street fees to list through them, which can range in the millions. I'm not arguing there isn't a lot of dumb money in crypto, but if anything this could come as a negative to more established businesses with revenues listing, as nubies have no actual understanding of how to evaluate these types of businesses outside of blockchain buzzwords.
I'll just give you one example. Futures contracts of Bitcoin, when everybody in crypto dared those guys at GBoE and CME to short their Bitcoin positions. Crypto enthusiasts were so sure Bitcoin was unstoppable ... and what happend next ? They've shorted Bitcoin contracts and made a bunch of money while also crippling the value of Bitcoin (and most coins) by 60-70%. And they are still using it as a perfect source of endless shorting events, with Bitcoin's constant pump and dumps. Everybody else is here just for the ride.

Not with so many altcoins and now new securitiised tokens. Bitcoin is only means of exchange of other assets - it was hyped - the same as Ethereum by it's ICO offerings. For Bitcoin $25000 is like a ceiling. If it get's back to 20k it will be a miracle... This market is to big for top 1 to keep so big valuation. Other project aren't staying in place. Look at google trends - bitcoin hype has gone - no new money gets in - while there are more and more direct fiat gateways to pump other projects directly.
The coin he is talking about is polymath. It is a blessing if the coin is getting secure... I think the odds is 25-30% that it will get secure. The coin will 1000x if it goes as plan. My lifesavings are on this coin.

Arslan Hussain polymath is trying to get security from the goverment. Polymaths team is one of the best team in the crypto market. This is the smartest investments in crypto right know in my view
David Valde thanks. I think getting sec approval would be hard for polymath - it’s a massive industry and investors need comfort which sec won’t give unless you are a sophisticated investor . Also I think that this guy is talking about a different asset backed venture - but securitising 30% is not practical or safe in investing terms - it’s something trump would love !
More likely it's independent asset on Ethereum platform maybe served also on Veritaseum VeADIR platform which makes possible exposure to such decentralised p2p assets - also veritized real estate. VeADIR is working and is ready for use. How about Polymath? What stage is that project on?
