Thanks it’s a perfect match for this radio. Just don’t expect a solid 50.W on every single band. The lower frequency bands require less power input.. the highest power I have seen is 57w but for the money, you can’t grumble and it works super and is virtually automatic
Hi. Great video! How did you connect the cables ? Radio -> Amplifier -> ATU -> ANTENNA? how much power are you tuning the antenna with? do you have to switch off the amplifier at this point or can the tuner handle the power? 73!
Great question the tuna can handle the amplifier. The aerial coax goes into the tuner and a patch lead goes to the amplifier. A patch lead goes from the amplifier to the radio
I looked at the manual and I do not see any Band Pass Filters for that amp. If no BPF's, that means it does not meet specs to be used on the ham bands. Barry
