Hi there Robert KB3VXB, Thanks for a great video. I have also recently got an ICOM IC 7610, but I've not got it out of the boxes yet. I've been watching different owners videos in order to learn a few things about it 1st. The more videos that I watch, the more I want to get mine out of the boxes & have a play with it. The trouble is that I don't have a very good antenna. It's just a simple Comet ??? 250 vertical. Kind Regards, Ray,, aka M0RAY, South East England, UK..
Congrats! I have been back and forth on which radio to buy next and I literally just pulled the trigger ten minutes ago on this one with the SP-41 External Speaker.
It is quite a transceiver! I have an IC 7600 that came to me from a silent key. Only been an amateur for 2 years and General since July. Thanks for the video!
This is KL5FX I have an IC-7610 as my fist radio and I can stop using it every day at my QTH awesome radio for Phone, RTTY and CW however my favorite is FT8. nice video my friend..73
This is the model of HF rig that I now have. And OVF means you have a very strong signal from not too far away from you, and you need to put an attenuator on or turn down the RF gain. 73 VE7NDE
Witam. Radio jest świetne. Chcę jednak zwrócić uwagę na pomiar mocy. Kolega przedstawił skalę 100 W i uśrednienie pomiaru mocy. Maksymalna moc promieniowania wynosi 50 WAT. Większość skrzyń biegów mieści się w przedziale od 25 do 35 WAT. Jest to więc radio QRP - a nie QRO jak podaje producent. Nigdy nie będzie to 100W podczas modulacji SSB.
