Icon Box | Unboxing & Try-On | November 2023 

I use a flat stiff brush. I swipe it on one eye and work quickly. I normally use primer and put a matte color in my crease. It drys so quickly. I hated sticks until I just watched some tutorials. It is a pretty color ❌️⭕️

I would love all the skin care cuz I'm old as dirt! It's never too young to take extra care of your skin so that it ages well. My mother started me with skin care at age 11 and I'm truly grateful to her for that. I've been obsessed ever since (with makeup too). Enjoyed the video!

I am very happy with the Icon box, this month was very exciting. I got to choose yesterday and I love my entire box. This box was packed with big brands, they were exciting. Your box was great!!! I am very happy with the beauty boost this time, we finally got makeup, which was a huda beauty pallate.

I have very oily eyelids and only use shadow sticks as toppers over powder shadow. I mainly use a champagne color as a sparkly topper.

I'm getting a great box this month. Maybe you can try putting the caviar stick on your lid and put powder eyeshadow or bronzer in your crease. I see lots of you tubers doing that 😊

Great box! This might be my favorite Icon/X ever. Ipsy picked for me the Pat McGrath Labs eyeshadow quad and mascara, Herbivore eye cream, Too Faced bronzer, and Danessa Myricks balm, and I chose the Huda blush stick, Commodity fragrance, and Alamar liquid blush. And I got the Bobbi Brown highlighter, Lunar Beauty setting powder, and PML lipstick in 1995 in add-ons. Now just holdin' my breath it's all there when I get my box. 😂

Ipsy sent all of you the same icon pr box . I wish they would mix it up so we could see a variety of products.

I have a couple Julep eyeshadow sticks, and they set very quickly. I apply the eyeshadow directly and blend with my fingertips. I definitely apply to one eyelid at a time because I can’t blend both sides quickly enough. Maybe practice in the evening over your day’s makeup before you remove everything, just to get more experience blending it. I do the same with liquid liner, because I’m really bad at applying a thin line. 😂 Good luck, sweetheart!!

Hello For me I don’t use or like glosses at all. But I prepare my lips for a great lipsticks day. Night time routine Exfoliate, sheet mask , Day routine lip liner, and mate lipstick and I use concealer around my lips. And sometimes at the end I spray primer.

I personally thought the items in the boxy charm line up (choice and otherwise) were better than the icon box line up??? I almost upgraded because Pat McGrath!! But I didn’t see one item I really wanted In the spoilers so I’m glad I didn’t upgrade this time 😅

I was happy with my Icon box this month. Yesterday Ipsy posted on their Instagram page that everyone was getting the PML eye shadow palette in their boxes. Thankfully you should be getting one in your paid for box but it's not right that the PR boxes didn't contain it. I will also be receiving a PML lipstick, LM shadow stick, LYS glosses, Tatcha cleanser, DOTG retinol cream, Herbivore eye gel, Aceology mask and the Huda Beauty Empowered palette as my extra boost item. I also added on the Lunar Beauty powder since wasn't offered it as one of my choices. Glad your paid for box is better!

I only use shadow sticks for my inner corner and a pop above the lash line so idk how to use them FR either

That is a great box. I picked the scalp serum. I purchased the highlighter in the add ons as well as the LYS lip oils. The Murad item is a serum and is suppose to plump and take wrinkles away within two hours of use. And it is quite expensive at $89US 😮! The dew of the gods moisturizer is a new launch for them and has been sold out on their site for quite some time. Pretty much right from the launch. Believe me as you are getting older the eye patches are a good thing to add to your routine. I keep mine in my skincare fridge so when I apply them in the morning they feel soooo good. You can put them on and have your coffee while all their yummyness does the work. Or you could put them on while your doing your eyeshadow and if there is any fall out it lands on the eye patches. I didn’t get the mascara cuz it was launched awhile ago when she did the Star Trek theme. But now that I seen it used I want it 😢lol. I am sooooo happy with my box I have coming. Nice box! That Murad serum is $89 😳 I LOVE anything by Murad tho 😊 the highlighter is so pretty! I’m glad you embrace the pale. I’m very fair skinned and have always embraced my fair skin also 😊 I like some shadow sticks. I find the wet n wild ones to be easiest to work with. They don’t dry down so fast. With an eye base they won’t crease. I like the LYS lip oils (I have such dry lips I always keep something on them and oils usually work out best, then a lip mask at night) but I agree about the applicator. I don’t think I would enjoy that. I would probably be cleaning it all the while too. It’s very pretty on you tho! I love using retinols. I’m in my 50s with a bit more mature skin tho and I find they really help. I only use them at night though. Even tho I use a sunscreen during the day, I still don’t use the retinols and go out of the house. I am super sensitive to the sun as it is and always have been. I’m the one that burns and peels but never tans. In my younger years I got some pretty bad sunburns. Back when my parents didn’t really know about sunblock and it’s importance. As I got older I stayed out of the sun or slathered myself in the highest spf sunblock I could find and I reapplied. I did get the benefit of less fine lines and wrinkles than my peers the same age as me. Sun protection is so important. Anyway, that’s my take on the retinol 😊 can’t wait for the sis v sis later this month 🎉 I enjoy watching you unbox but I also enjoy watching you and rachel together. the problem I had with Ipsy was that it always went overboard with the skincare. I'm a skincare girl, even being that, it was too much on the skin to makeup ratio. also, the majority of the skincare would break me out. I don't have sensitive skin and not prone to breakouts so this means to me that it was out dated product overall

if i opened an account today with the boxycharm monthly full size box and icon box add on, would i still get to choose my icon box products for the month or would they send me totally random stuff? because im not interested if it would be random.

I’m desapointed about the Icon box cause there is only few PMG products. Only 1 eyeshadow quad … I wasn’t expecting a mother ship palette but there is 5 pans 6 pans PMG palette, no liquid lipstick or gloss only bullet lipstick… Maybe it’s me as everybody seems happy
