I've started a RU-vid channel exploring food in Vancouver and hopefully around the globe. Let us take you on an adventure to find some of the best eats all around!
My name is Stephan and I am based in Vancouver, BC, Canada... I was born in France but then moved to Canada very young. Growing up as a kid, I developed a strong passion for food through the aromas of my Italian, French and Canadian family kitchen. Lester's is not "Montreal Style" smoke meat, it is more rubbery rather than more textured like Schwartz, The Main, Smoke Meat Pete's or Dunn's.

You keep complaining of insufficient salt; that is easily remedied, but the reverse, for folks on low sodium diets, or those with a differing palet... Less is better and, the mark of a 1st rate Chef!

Lobster Spaghetti 70 dollars? What a ripoff. Any restaurant on Notre-Dame street and St.Laurent Blvd(Little Italy) is a ripoff, and made for suckers. Btw, next-time, go to a fish store and buy your lobster there, for 70 dollars, you could have more than 3, 1lb 1/2 lobsters. If you need advice about the best hidden restaurant gems in Montreal, I'll tell you where they are located, for sure, they are not where you went.

Perfect! Gimme those hidden gems 💎 I do agree, for the amount of lobster we got on that plate, it wasn't 70 bucks worth, even for a high end restaurant.

I never had a bad smoked meet sandwich in my native Montreal, all deli's places that I go to for smoked meat, are good. You have the right to tell the waiter or waitress how you want your smoked meat, if they don't give it the way you want it, just leave. Stay away from restaurants in Old Montreal, Notre-Dame street, and Italian restaurants, especially in Little Italy. These restaurants are all overrated, expensive, and with small portions. Stay away from Marche Jean-Talon, another ripoff place. Montreal is also known for their great Hot-Dogs(Chien-Chaud) institutions. I'm glad you went to icon places in Montreal in your other video. Don't forget to visit Montreal Chinatown, in your next visit to Montreal. All the best!@@stephaneats3944

PLease do not confuse Canadian (rest of canada) to Quebec culinary iconic dishes.... the ROC took not only our name (Quebecois were called Canadians while hte rest of Canada were still calling themselves British citizens)... our patriot anthem twarp to O Canada... and outside of Nanaimo bars, most ''Canadian'' cuisine is from Quebec.... very thankful for Quebec for having real culture infused in so many areas...
