Two RCMP cadets fainted as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was giving a speech in Regina on March 9. Trudeau was naming Brenda Lucki as the RCMP’s first permanent female commissioner. During the speech at the RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina, two cadets standing behind the podium could be seen falling over during the announcement.

They were inside. The heat was surely cranked. Trudeau looks like he is sweating. I've had a very similar situation happen to myself. New cadets, on TV, in front of the Prime Minister, in extremely hot uniforms standing shoulder to shoulder for a long period of time, then one of them faints (which probably puts the other girl over the edge when she saw that). Woah, that's 2 in a single event. Tips before parades, make sure u have eaten not too full, not too light, and drink enough water to stay hydrated. During parade, while standing, move your toes around for blood circulation, so that u won't faint so easily. The second woman who fell just now was still ok, nothing serious. But the first guy that fell, he went straight face down, I believe that hurts. Hope those 2 patriots are fine. God bless Canada! Would love to travel there.

Good observation. I've done regimental parades. 1200 men in like 8 companies. French Foreign Legion. You could have a two hour parade like this and nobody faints. It happens but still rare. For like 25-30 people. 2 people fainting is absurdly high. Western people are weak and cant even stand up straight for a couple hours, I know. I'm western too, born and raised in Canada. I was the weakest and suffered the most in basic training. In my basic training of 55 men first week 5 French men of 7 asked and returned home. Of the two that completed the training, only one finished the 5 year contract. The other deserted. 30 went to régiment at the end of instruction. Myself included to the infantry. Of all the anglaphones I did instruction with; 1 American, 1 Irishman, 1 South African, 1 Englishman (ex marine commando), 1 German, 1 Canadian (myself, the worst of the lot). I was the only one that completed the contract and honourably discharged. Ever man from the developed countries deserted from my recruit class. Maybe a dozen of the beginning 55 man basic training class actually completed the 5 year contract. "No Mercy/ merci in the Legion" -Foreign Legion Infantry Corporal 2013-2018.

@@leonnqt1dxxclecavalier369 I don't think it's anything to do with Western, Asian, African or any racial issues here. If u move your toes a little bit, it can with blood circulation and hence u won't faint that easy. Most people who faint is usually bcoz they didn't move any parts of their body at all, so they faint.

They could be having a heart attack for all he knows, generally if someone has collapsed you don't just laugh at the person and ignore it as you continue. The right thing to do is to be quiet so they can remain focused on hearing a for a weakened pulse. Or so people can hear when they yell out for someone to get a emt or so they can hear if the airway is clogged or if there was some gum or a tooth in the way.... trudeau could've killed that person through his arrogance, and would've fired anyone who told him to be quiet

Through cadets and my career in the military I saw countless people either pass out or drop to their knee to be escorted off the parade square. The worst I ever saw was in air cadets, a girl right in front of me thundered in so hard she broke her jaw and bit her tongue in half. She didn't collapse, she tipped forward like a falling tree. Lilian Haizel you are right about the knee bending thing but sometimes that doesn’t even help, and the uniforms are usually a polyester Cotten blend but don’t quote me on that, also I’m getting tired of this argument so I’ll just say we all have our own opinions

My dad is a retired mountie and those uniforms are heavy the jacket is made of wool and so are the pants so it gets insanely hot really easily. My dad wore his red surge on canada day to walk in the parade and it was so warm he was sticking to his suit.

When standing for long periods of time don't lock your knees because that restricts blood flow increasing the chances of you passing out. That's how people faint during weddings. When you see someone swaying like that, and look like they're about to faint, wrap your arms around their waist to catch them from hitting their head and assist them to the ground .

my twocents I think he would if the merit was there. Is there something wrong with meritocracy? I can’t imagine you are dumb enough to think that way. You were just passing a racist comment and trying to belittle an excellent leader.
@mytwocents3981
@mytwocents3981 6 лет назад
mromar I believe meritocracy is absolutely the way to go, which is exactly why PM Virtue is not fit to lead any country. I am not passing a racist comment I am commenting on Trudeaus love of diversity (muslims) over Canada. Just curious, in what way is he an excellent leader?
@mromar2724
@mromar2724 6 лет назад
my twocents forget about my reasoning. Why don’t we start with why you think love for Canada and love for Diversity (Muslim’s) have to be an opposing state? Do you personally feel that your love for Canada will somehow diminish if you were to have an inclusive attitude towards Muslims?
@mytwocents3981
@mytwocents3981 6 лет назад
mromar how well has diversity worked for Germany,Sweden,Australia,France or the UK , since when does self destruction = love
@mytwocents3981
@mytwocents3981 6 лет назад
mromar my love for Canada would not be diminished if I were to have an inclusive attitude towards Muslims. I would love to be able to welcome them here to become Canadians but unfortunately they don't want to BE Canadian they want the benefits of being Canadian while remaining the same type of people they were back HOME. Admit it, they do not want anything to do with our society. They see anyone that is not the same as them as less than them. They are the true zenophobes and racists. That is why they mostly keep to themselves in their little enclaves with the exception of a few who actually try to assimilate with the rest of us. No different than anywhere else in the world.
