I love your video. You guys did a great job describing the food. Much better than a lot of videos that I have watched. I love the fact that you had your dog with you because I am a dog lover.
No no no. Take it from a Memphian. Go to Rendevous and get bbq pork nachoes, stop in somewhere on Beale street. Can’t come to memphis without going to Beale street for a mixed drink or a local beer from one of our local breweries! And make sure you pick up some honey gold wings from crumpys! Gotta go the the local’s spots, not the tourist spots. Tourist spots don’t give the actual Memphis flavor!
We did visit Beale street in the video we put out after this as well as several other places, but Memphis had so many amazing sounding things that we couldn't visit everything we wanted to. We also like to try the famous things when we first visit a place, but also love to find the places locals love, so we will keep your suggestions in mind for our next trip. Thank you!
I'm from California....just moved to southeast Texas and I love ❤ the south. I'm thinking 🤔 about Visiting Memphis for the holidays thanks for information
Good advices. One thing that surprised me is that the local beer is good. I usually find beer to be boring and too generic however Memphis beer is above the national average and I was impressed
The way he was looking at that chicken, I bet if we weren’t around he would have bit it right out your hands but he waited so patiently lol. I love couple videos and this one was cute. Great job! I’m headed to Memphis for my bday with my boyfriend and trying to see what we’re going to eat so thank you for taking the time to post this video! 🙏🏾💜
Great stuff. Ill be in Memphis a couple weeks. So far I've tried Centrals and Gibson's donuts. Centrals also has really unique dry rub chicken wings (to me at least) that I'm going back for. Great descriptions too. I've tried the New Orleans at Gibson's and now I need to try the red velvet!
This is like TV quality with the way it all flowers together. We are food reviewers from Ireland watching other food reviewers from across the world. Love seeing what everyone else is doing 🙌
We felt kind of silly stopping in the middle of a food video, but Memphis has some very significant places that are important to include in travel videos.
I miss my home so much :( but thankfully me and my mom are coming back for the memphis in may fest Gibsons donuts is litterally the best donut place ever the glazed donuts and the cake blueberry donut and the bacon donut are my favorites we always have to stop there
Hi I am a native Memphen and I am giving this video a 10 out of 10, and yes the fried Peanut butter and banana sandwich is needed along with the banana pudding.
Gus's chicken for me is the original in Mason Tn. Home of "Bozo's BBQ"( worth a stop if its still around) chicken, 40 oune beers and keep your feet on the floor or find out why you should have!
I loved Memphis, I thought it was a hell of a place, but christ on a bike, that food'll kill you!! Grease, cholestrol, no veggies, deep fried muck!! And the prices now!! We went to Central BBQ and were charged $60 for a very modest meal. A surley geezer took my order and then told me to add a tip. Not wanting to get someone spit (or worse) into my food, I complied. But folks, the tipping and the prices are getting totally out of control. Don't you ever ask yourself why the owners of the restraunts don't pay their staff? They do in Europe.
I know it sounds insane, but if you ever go back to Central you HAVE to try the turkey. I got it on a platter with the ribs and pulled pork. It wasn't just the best thing on the plate, it was one of the best things I had on my whole trip.
