Iconic Scenes from 80s Movies (Part 2)

We broke down our June 6th podcast, where we talk about iconic movie scenes from the 1980s! I (Chad) read an article of the top 100 movie scenes of all time, and decided to just focus on the 80s decade. If this gets enough interest, maybe we check out other decades!

I didn't tell Soto what we were talking about, to be able to get a gut reaction because after we talked about each scene individually, we we're going to pick the top three scenes, and hopefully pick out the most iconic scene from the 80s.
Some rules:
- We left out horror movies, because want to save that for October
- Only one scene per movie
- Disregarded entries that were just there because of an iconic line. For example, while "I'll Be Back" is one of the most iconic lines, it isn't an iconic scene
We mainly did this to get the list to twelve.

You’re on my favorite decade!! So many great scenes. One of the most memorable scenes for me was “nobody puts baby in the corner” from dirty dancing.

@@sotoandchadanother of my favorites is when Long Duck Dong from 16 candles got that girl to dance with. He was so little and his head fit perfectly in her boobs lol.

It's interesting, because I don't go back and watch Big much, but this scene was freaking iconic! I'm sure they played it for real, but yeah, lots of takes. The happy-factor holds up too, as my kids enjoyed Big as well. Sadly, I have to admit that I've never seen the Breakfast Club. I've heard about it so much that I basically know what the movie is, but I never watched it. Cool to hear your insights though.

The Breakfast Club is in my top five. The best John Hughes film. You should at least watch it once. When you think about Big, some things are definitely hard to explain to kids🤣🤣 But we still want to act like a kid
