salamat dito boss DJ DLS! pati yung sa rook! I have clearer reference para icompare ko sa Camino helmet since wala naman ako nitong mga helmet na ito hehe rs lagi paps! :)
Hi po, looking to get my first helmet, as a glasses wearer which one is more comfortable? Also regarding the ventilation parang mas maganda sa ID rocket vs Rook but I'd like your opinion sana. Great videos though really helping me for when I get my 1st motorcycle.
For us wearing glasses, I find that the Rook has more room for the temples of my eyeglasses vs the ID Rocket. The vents on the ID tend to 'whistle' at higher speeds vs the Rook's vents. :)
Not sure about the HJC, never had one. I do have both the ID rocket and Rook helmets. I prefer the Rook because I wear glasses and it's easier to put on and remove my eyeglasses with the Rook. The ID does not have enough room for the temples.
haha yes bro. pero i found that if you pull on the straps out really hard to have a wider opening on the helmet, mas nami-minimize yung pagtupi. or if you wear a balaclava, mas madulas papasok yung helmet sa ulo mo. :D
I just bought this helmet few hours after watching your blog sir. Hehe nabudol niyo po ako. I'm just wondering para saan ba yung extra D ring sa strap ng id rocket?
double-d ring type sya bro, you need both rings to be able to fasten the strap properly. watch this video tutorial ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xo2Bia5hD2s.html hope this helps :) sorry sa budol haha :D
I can't tell the difference kasi flicking it up or down kasi I'm using a balaclava.
Amazing video sir! :) just a quick question lang if pwede haha, yung cushion ba inside the helmet is all removable? like the cheek pads, and the overall cushion on the head removable?
Thanks for english review! Have you figure best place to mount gopro ? I like the helmet just not sure where to mount gopro , don't want to mount it on side or on the top and on the front looks like gopro will block vents completely
Hi! Yung vent po sa forehead, may butas po ba yan exactly where the vents are? 😅 Thank you!
I have not tried this helmet while riding in the rain, but on my rook helmet, which has a similar active vent design, it managed to keep the water out and it kept my head dry. this was under mixed situations, one was a slight drizzle and the other was pouring rain.
sir ano size ng head mo?same din ba sa size chart yung head mo sa size ng helmet or bumili ka ng larger helmet?i mean accurate ba sizing sa size chart?medyo worry lang kasi if oorder online bala sablay sa sukat...pls help...salamat ride safe
Evening sir. Im planning to buy small size 😐
ROOK in terms of eyeglass-compatibility. Looks naman I think the ID looks better pero mas malaki shell size nya. Mas kamukha ng ID yung Bell Bullit. Mas madalas ko gamitin ROOK because I wear glasses.
I heard that, some buyer complaint the sizes of the helmet is much smaller than the given ,for example ,L is 59-60 ,but the actual fit is smaller than 59-60
Parehong 2 visors ang kasama, ROOK dark and clear, ID yellow iridium and dark bubble. 😊
Meron syang TIS 369-2557 rating, Thai Industrial Standards Institute. Click here for reference www.thaiauto.or.th/2020/news/news-detail.asp?news_id=3204
@@DJDLS no problem. Thank u. Tried mine kanina kc and regardless if I flip the switch up or down, my eye glasses still fogs up 😅 So i end up just opening the visor
Good day brother. Which is better and you will prefer overall for thr vintage style helmet, the Rook or the ID Rocket? Appreciate the unbiased response. Thanks brother!
If you wear glasses, go for the rook. I just find that i sweat more when i wear the rook vs the ID. The ID has better material on the inner lining, less prone to sweat. You can also try the rook v2 which just came out. 😊 The ID is noisier specially from the holes/vents on the forehead.
@@coldcut7400 i stopped using this helmet for more than a year now. back to rook ako because it is more compatible with eyeglass wearers. rook pag dito dito lang and weather not so hot or when it's raining. pag byahe, or ok weather, arai gamit ko.
@@DJDLS I'm so confused about the sizing bro. They said asian size daw? Normally im wearing large in European brand like Nolan and X-Lite helmet. 59/60cm as well. Should i still go for Large or XL? Btw. Great videos New subscriber. RS bro. 🤘
Rule is said to be 7 years from date of production/5 years since first use. 7 years from date of production means it could be stored for a good 2 years and you could still have 5 solid years of using the helmet umless it gets dropped or involved in a crash where it is advisable to be replaced asap. Storage should also be away from heat/direct sunlight and excessive humidity. This is why you'd see reputable helmet shops put some models on huge discount kapag nakita na nila sa inventory that it's been in their warehouse for more than 2 years since it means less years for the buyer to actually use the helmet. 5-year lifespan starts from day one of use: So kahit bagong labas lang iyan ng factory kahapon and you start using it today, 5-year timer starts and wala na yung additional 2 years for storage if brand new/unused.
5 years includes time when helmet was inactive, say you've used it for 2 years straight, and kept it for 8 months. That means you only have 2 years 4 months of usage left since the helemt was already previously exposed to the weather as well as oil and sweat from your skin.
@@DJDLS pero what if hindi nakasalamin? Considerable ba si id or mas okay talaga si rook? Planning to buy this too pero sympre parehas maganda. So tanong ako sa nakahawak at experience na sa both helmets hehe
