Great and informative first impression video! Have you used it regularly since then? I'm wondering if it held up well in over a year of use, especially the removable pads and suede lining. Also, this is out of topic, but what gloves were you using in this video? Thanks!
Thanks for your comments and for watching! Yes I still am using this white helmet, gave the black one to my daughter and I have a yellow one which I also use regularly. Pads are still ok after a year's use. In this vid I was using my SEC gloves, I wanted to buy another pair but I guess they stopped producing it a while ago. Cheers!

Nagpaceramic po ako ng motor and kasama sa package na free coat din sa one helmet so pinacoat ko yung Rook V152 Glossy Black and unfortunately instead na protection is scratches po ang nangyari sa helmet according don sa shop na nagcoat is manipis daw po yung paint ni Rook helmet kaya nagkascratch during buffing process po.
Already went there sir! Medyo masikip siya at the cheek part but it ascertains stability naman. Will buy one soon. Sir do you have plans on getting a slider on you xsr155? I bought and install one but according to a mechanic, very poor daw ang engineering nya. Almost all, if not, have the same built.
You can't go wrong with either of them. The Rook is lighter and has a smaller shell size which i like. And if you plan to use eyewear, the Rook has better compatibility. The ID has better ventilation but instead of a whistling noise at higher speeds, you will hear like a silent scream, that sometimes startles me when it happens lol! The ID also has better pads but uses similar material to the Rook that gets pretty warm too when you're not moving. For your first helmet I would suggest the Rook, and if you have some extra money later on, a good 2nd helmet could be the ID. Hope this helps!
Sir accurate po ba size chart? Size 59 head ko, should i go for large or xl? For reference ive tried hjc c70 nd best fit skin ang xxl. Hope u can help. TIA
that's one less step in gearing up, kasi pag modular, no need to remove glasses when you put on the helmet :) but once i've tried wearing a very light full face helmet, with eyeglasses compatibility, ok lang yung extra step of removing the glasses, laking ginhawa sa ulo at sa leeg ng magaan na helmet :)
i doubt this helmet is truly ECE rated, since ECE rated helmets have a label sa chin strap for ECE rating, this one doesnt have it. so its probably faking its ECE rating
same at first but for peace of mind they sent me a unit to stress test. i did not do a good job in destroying it as it was my first and last time doing such a thing. with your question, i had to ask them again and got the same reply: hindi pwede ibenta sa market kung hindi totoong ece certified. hindi kasi sya underground selling, this is being sold in legitimate retail stores. but if you still have your doubts, you can always go for tried and tested brands like arai or shoei. cheers!
Well you testing the helmet is one thing, but getting the helmet properly certified by a renowned third party organization using stardardized testig method is another. Also regarding sa "hindi pwede ibenta sa market kung hindi totoong ECE certified" its probably true in other countries kase strict sila.. but here i the Philippines i doubt thats true.. ICC sticker lang naman hinanap para pwede na gamitin yung helmet sa daan.. Im okay with crappy helmets, what im not okay with is lying to consumers especially if it compromises their safety. I would buy this helmet even if DOT certified lang siya.. but i didnt because they lied
One more thing, please do search on ECE certified helmets and labels, makikita mo talaga na may mga label sa chin strap ang mga ECE rated helmets.. even LS2 na chinese brand and made in china eh merong valid na ECE Rating
@@jasper5945 if you're still in doubt you can just avoid the brand. I do not own this brand and all i can do is ask them and take their word for it. Maybe try asking them directly also?
I just bought the helmet and yes it has an ece label stitched in the strap. It’s hidden in the brown/orange liner and you really have to dig and stretch to view it. Its tested in Germany E1 and labelled as P for full face.
They're all ECE rated, but I can't say if one is better than the others. This is lighter than the smk that i had and my ls2 valiant. It was so light that i had initial doubts on the quality, good thing rook ph was open to some stress testing for added peace of mind.

Walang speaker slots but they would still fit. I have my extra cardo audio kit installed on my white rook now. From what i know, the newer rook helmets have speaker slots.
