Wow! That was excellent! I didn't even know who she was in 1985 even though I had been a professional violinist for 18 years by then. I didn't know anything about her until years later. I guess I had led a sheltered life.

She was, sadly, much neglected in her prime. Certainly one of the best violinists of the 20th century.

Wow. What a temper. Impulsive with a lot personal style. Never heard the Sibelius concert like this, it sounds like a romantic concert. Very good.
