Idaho Today: Meet Grayson, the Harpy Eagle living at the Birds of Prey 

The way it sounds is pretty cute

Grayson is like that one friend that’s quiet but then has a lot to talk about as soon as pull out the bowl 😂 (no hon wrong with it btw)

I met Grayson last week. He was amazing!

That’s really neat that you were able to get that close and to be able to feed Grayson. I saw a documentary on National Geographic and they went to South America and they actually found a Harpy Eagle nest deep in the jungle and they actually climbed up into the tree that the nest was and they set up a camouflage treestand and let me tell you it was super high up. That tree was easily 100 to 120 feet up off the ground. Those guys were insane, but they wanted to film the Harpy and watch it raise a little baby eagle.

i still think the philliphine eagle looks cooler 😀 but the most majestic birds are definitely the harpy and philliphine eagle
