I live in Michigan The jurors that they will be needing will not have any bias Knowing about the case, does not necessarily give you a bias They would have to have an open mind and trust our judicial system, innocent until proven guilty I think I would be a great juror. I have followed the case from the beginning, followed the podcasts and unfollowed the podcasts The only thing I really stay away from is Mainstream media producing TV specials or Netflix or Paramount Mainstream media, I think it’s very biased, and they conclude without evidence very dangerous

Exactly II ! Why is it that some cases are set and off we go. Why is it this case is different? Discovery is turned over and State tries the case. Put all evidence out there and let jury decide. The end. Why does this defense attorney think she needs states playbook?

Yes, that is really terrible for the families. It is the same in Germany. Here you may only be "under investigation" for two years. When the judges don't meke it in this time, they have to let these people out of jail or find another reason to keep them in, which is not easy.

More terrible if your innocent ...yet crucified by public who haven't even heard the facts yet. So far, no facts have been released to convince me he did it.

Darlie Routier DP case went to trial In 6 months and the defense team changed so they had less than 9 weeks to prepare for it. Also no credible evidence against her other than she didn't die. Oh and her and her family and local children celebrated her son's birthday at his gravesite after a memorial service. You are right though the wheels of justice turn slowly she has been on death row for 27 years for a crime she didn't commit.

I've found it somewhat amusing. The pca itself specifically declares that he drives around at night aimlessly. In fact according to the pca at least on twelve occasions!!!!!!!!!! When the pca comes out they say he was driving around half the world goes nuts nonsense!

The D-team has admitted to receiving over 95% of Discovery. Evidence trickles in up until and during trials- digital, phone, Labs,… The longer it takes to get to trial, the D-team gambles that more crucial evidence doesn’t get found.

51TB of data worth of evedance!!! That's why. They have not even recieved it all yet! You know how much information that is???? The state has been working this case and collecting the data for a lot longer than the def has even started getting a fraction of that data.

It’s a fair point though. Americans are VERY territorial I have noticed. And people from small towns in general are VERY territorial. This will be taken PERSONALLY by the folks in Idaho and EXTRA personal by those in Latah County.

@Tori345 I'm well aware of that. And of course there wouldn't be 12 college kids on the jury. Alot of them wouldn't get a summons because their drivers licenses and voting registrations are still in their home state anyways. There are plenty of other people who live there, but that wasn't my point.

Its pretty clear based on the PCA how they came across BK. WSU police came across his Elantra on Nov. 29. Also the prosecution isn't even using the IGG evidence at trial and they didn't use it to get any warrants either.

@justinm1200 How does finding his car at the campus where he attends school prove that he's the murderer?? That alone doesn't prove how they ID'd him as the suspect. Is this a troll??? No matter how the state secured all those invasive warrants (as well as usurping a constitutional right to a preliminary hearing)..... it follows they should be able to simply hand over whatever information they used for that jurisprudence- to Anne T. What's your answer to why the state is so clearly unable to hand over the exact same Dec 29th materials that they showed to the judge that day (or time prior)??? We know those materials contained identification connection information because a judge is not legally allowed to approve the warrants (or usurp P.H) without that element intact. So WHY WHY WHY is the state "suddenly unable" to hand over those very same materials?? The state has not handed over a single piece of evidence that actually identifies BK as the suspect. It's become so common sense obvious at this point that I am shocked that there are still humans who exist who simply cannot wrap their mind around this lol Just WILD

@justinm1200 According to the Court Documents LE is claiming that Nov 18th is the first day they became aware of Mr. Kholberger's vehicle. So....NO.

The point is it’s PERSONAL in Latah County. Say you committed a crime in Russia. Which country do you think you’d get a fairer trial in… Russia or another country? Idahoans are territorial folk. To be honest I think you’d need it in a different state to avoid bias. How can this bloke get a fair trial at all when you read these comments. Probably shouldn’t bother with juries at all as I can count on one hand the number of folk in this chat that are capable of suspending their opinion until they’ve heard all the evidence. Kids could do a better job.

Agreed, many people do not follow the news or horrific true crime. Send out the questionnaires, then if the Judge sees it is prudent, change venue. To change venue now, this far in advance, will start another media frenzy in another County. Who is to say, the D-team will not ask for a second change of venue, due to publicity, only to ask for more time to push back trial. Let’s go! 🙏🏻⚖️🪦🪦🪦🪦☮️

I like to drive around late at night or in the early mornings, isn’t much of an alibi. Doesn’t help BK one bit, esp. when he drove back to the scene of the crime for a looksee. Apt.> to Kings Rd., drives to the back of house on Walenta Dr., stays about 10-mins, doesn’t get out of his car, then heads back home. He thought he’d blend in, but he was the only one.

Every case has Discovery to sift thru. Her paralegals are doing that. Set a trial date.

Scott Petersons trial started just 14 months after his arrest and it was a 5 month long trial. This trial is only estimated to last 6-8 weeks. It should not take 2.5 years from the time of arrest for this trial to start.

Casey Anthony's case took 3 years to go to trial. If this trial starts in June 2025 that will be 2.5 years from the arrest date.

BUT the whole world isn't Biased, and Latah County, the Judge, the MPD, ISP are! It's a great disservice of the Justice system to refuse him that right.

The prosecution has tried to start the trial earlier but the defense always says they need more time and the judge sides with them
