The newly created role of General Manager - Business Development leads the Business Development Unit and plays the lead role in revolutionising income stream generation for this highly recognised, 150 year old not-for-profit organisation. Responsiblities fall in the following seven key areas:
• Strategic Marketing and Operational Planning
• Fundraising, Sponsorship and Fee for Service
• Strategic and Operational support for CAFS Foundation
• Marketing, Communication and Public Relations
• Community Engagement
• Wozzles Social Enterprise and
• Healing Equine Assisted Learning (HEAL) Program.
The role will see you:
Utilising your tertiary qualification (from a related discipline) along with your astute commercial abilities and flair for business development; you will drive and optimise current revenue streams, while creatively identifying new opportunities within the region.
Your direct reports are in the areas of Marketing & Communications, Community Engagement, Wozzles and HEAL and with the support of a dedicated administrator you will help each area understand how their unit contributes to the overall strategic objectives of CAFS by displaying a dynamic and inclusive leadership style.

You are able to lead, persuade and - your relationship building capabilities are second to none.
