We need more humans like you Vusi Thembekwayo. Totally agree with commonality rather than differences. Emotional/ Spiritual and collaborative intelligence is hugely called for as we venture forward. Using our unique passion, skills, talents and abilities to build communities. You are such a beacon of hope. Really enjoyed this episode. TOP JOB 💯👏👏👏 Kudos to all those who posed great questions👌😍
This country needs you to run for Presidency. You are one of our best capable minds. You have all our support, the road is not going to be easy but it's do-able.
While we still have direct access to Vusi we need too grab it with everything. The fact that we can engage with him and have our question answered because we all want the same thing. We all want enough money to buy an avocado , a shoe a house , we all want streets fully lit and have our clinics running.
Vusi, you are my favorite ZAR motivational and entrepreneur . I believe THE ROAD AHEAD, will have to come with MINDSET CHANGE, and that people need to look to their God given talents that will help to sustain your lifestyle.
Hi Vusi i was listening to your talk and helping all youngest in different area's keeping busy and having workshops teaching them skills so they can open maybe small business or even find jobs. Mainly from the informal settlements having workshops closer to them in different parts of jhb and Kazulu Natal.
I had a conversation with my dad and uncle over the weekend regarding the Benoni station vandalism and its current state (before watching this discussion today). It was very hard to further the conversation due to one fact, the fact that the station is next to the SAPS (800m). Very disturbing to say the least!! Our country is not safe under our very own SAPS.
😂😂he is smart and a great speaker but winning a presidential election requires much×100 than that. You dont have to be president to make a difference...
Oh My God Vusi I have been watching most of your videos recently, I am from the Eastern Cape and I have been praying for an opportunity to meet you. I want to make change, I want to learn.
They will most certainly not entertain him. Our South African government is not for eradicating poverty it's a mafia business of stealing from the poor.
Very informative and a great discussion. Vinny, the blue collar worker however is the majority of the worker in the South African context and when you exclude them then who is the solution for from a globalised value creation perspective…
why in a country like ZA are people so downtrodden and hopeless?? most ZAR citizens have this negative outlook on the state/position of the country, it is my belief that this is at the heart(core) of our problem. we lack pride, love and appreciation for what and where we are as South Africans. so often when 1 changes their perspective there is a shift in the volume and direction of the effort(energy expended). individual citizens have the power to make that shift. once we make that shift internally as individuals then our investment into these growth schemes on a municipal>provincial>national level will yield return. S/O to Vusi and team for embodying this and displaying it in action. How can we further cultivate this? let us build a culture where we are Proudly SouthAfrican. let us have a discussion on how that culture can be cultivated and employed
Talk is cheap... Think back...Ramaphosa is also a very good speaker...like this guy...When Cyril took over from Shower Head the whole country was in a frency....look now...its mayhem.SA developt a culture of destruction....and maybe you will know....when something become a culture....its very very hard to change that culture. Its embeded in the youth...they go around and just destroy everything. You dont need this man....what you need is a miracle...
Vusi, I totally agree with you. I do have one huge problem however. You where saying we need to hold the politicians accountable. The problem I have is that our democracy allow us only to vote for a party. We cannot vote for a particular person. If we could have vote for the person , we would be able to hold him or her accountable. In such a case we would also be able to vote a person out if we wasn’t happy with his or her performance!! We have heard the other day in court that we cannot hold a politician accountable due to stupidity, and that is the big problem we are sitting with!!
Vusi Thembekwayo please my brother just form your own Party and Run for President, I'm gonna be your second fan with your wife being the first. You're our hope.
I don't mean to be a wet blanket or anything but once we turn our heads to politicians things never work, those people know how to use people's emotions very well. We need to think outside the box to see these effective tools. Try different strategies instead of using the same spoon that's been used for centuries.
Hi Vusi, thank you for such a great discussion. Wondering if there are any female viewers willing to ask questions. My main question is to do with Silicon Jozi, what kind of partnerships are you looking for with the work you're currently doing?
Vusi how does someone get hold of you! My husband and I have been in the property game for some time, and we have been looking for finance to the next level, but we dont want to go through the banks, we are looking for funding to purchase more property! Can you point us in the right direction?
I love Vinny about what is talking about on global assets as the cryptocurrency is the next biggest thing that's going to happen from now to 2030 as money is counterfeit as we now use app's to transfer money or any funds. We as South Africa's we need to educate ourselves about financial freedom as the Rockerfella are the people that introduced the education system to create employees not entrepreneurs as the school system sell us an idea to buy skills from varsity level there's more to the system as to fix it now
Mr Mashaba need to lobby and be visible. If more people join his party, we will be able to challenge the ruling party. Pkease do not forget the R350 grant that was renewed as a way to lobby the unemployed. Vusi for President
KPIs for public officers, great idea. People keeping government in check, Vusi let's not pretend that an average South African has any chance in keeping the system in check... It's who you are, what you do, what you have, who you know or else you really don't matter unless you burn a school or a mall... :( . Let's push to find a real tense and legit way to make the streets "average man and woman" to engage the government like if the same issue is raised by more than 100 people government needs to address it...
But Vusi the economy has quite a number of drivers and SA is no exception.. Let's not exclusively give the notion that a certain clique of ppl has the responsibility to transform the economy.. If you put an already mentioned array of economic drivers in perspective the contribution u make wld be well received.. I put my hand up to share such platform with you
As a youth whos very concerned with the way these grown folks are taking the country, I'm at least a bit glad there's some mind such as yours. When it comes to finance or business I'm no pro like the older generation, but I do believe in the fact that a state of mind could play a big role in the growth of our beloved country. Sadly a political mindset is not what we need right now. Yes, many say politics run the world but we need proud south africans steering the ship instead of these politically inclined leaders who see more significance in political affiliation then the overall growth of the country as proud citizens. Its the issue raised in your old videos I saw once where you talked about how black people usually think small when they think business. Seems politicians do the same with their vision of the future. Its like we need to go back to basics and teach each other Ubuntu so that these leaders can have at least some form of moral compass guiding their decisions. The issue with with our economy is not based age or intellect but rather the mindset of the individual signing off the policy or rather in the most common case the individual signing off the tender contract. What our country needs right now is a bit heart and a mindset. like i said, im no pro about these business/politics but we need to hold conversations that'll change the mindset of our citizens so that even those we stay with emaloxion will not have mindsets that are only thinkin small or local. I don't even have any formal qualification like the others we're unemployed with but half the problems I have are irrelevant simply because I've went out to seek information. Whether I lacked any form of resources but i can have this necessary constructive debates with those with qualifications yet still stuck at home like me. My point in saying that is the mindset i Chose to have or nurture instead. all these programs would help with the correct mindsets behind them.
It's so confusing to me, much of sub Saharan Africa would die to get to ZA. It's so disturbing to see that politics has sunk this low. As a distant person who often visits and did my studies UCT am so disappointed with the failed promise. My thinking is first deal with leadership then leadership will fix the inquities and society will improve. But fixing the leadership is everyone's job. All people must shade all their social, historical, ethnic, religious bargages.
Honestly thats what government needs to do, is go and have open meetings or forums with people within all these sectors thats the only way the current government can get a clue on what solutions will work for our people!! They should go to hospitals and ask the nurses what their challenges are , meet entreprenuers ask them what they need same for teachers and people within the film industry and every other industry we have!! For Gods sakes there are many countries who have gone through this and overcame successfully surely we can learn from them and apply those solutions and have the same results this isnt rocket science!!!😤🤦♀️
Vusi, the pandemic did not cause all those businesses to close. A pandemic causes illness or death. Governments response to the pandemic caused the closure. There is a distinct difference.
How do I get hold of the gent from Boksburg who buys up properties in the inner city? I'm in Planning space. I believe there's an opportunity for a collabo
So when do you intend on doing something about it rather than talking about it. I ask this question cos it seems like South Africans are good at protesting on social media platforms, until pro activity is done in the streets day in day out PEACEFULLY, no violence, this conversation is counterproductive. What did Nigeria, Swaziland etc. Citizens do when they were fed they took it to d streets. Until then keep talking n d govt knows dat S. Africans protest for 1 day n move on so why should they feel any pressure. You want change you take action, period
Vusi I would like to know what kind of book's that u reading in philanthropist because I have the same ideology that you have just to educate myself more to the world of entrepreneurship
why in Africa people with sense can't be found in the public services?? Vusi should be the Minister of Finances period! But at least South Africa you have people who sit down and talk, criticize the government. Some of us come from the countries where you can't there criticize anything publicly. unless you want to be in jail, or loose everything. The government is taking lots of loan and spend however they want and citizens have no right whatsoever to say anything, it is so frustrating!! Any one could guess that country? And the whole Africa think that that country is doing better than others countries!!
So this is to say it is no longer Jonno leaving for Canada, but it is now Tumelo and Sipho heading for Australia. Immigration due to fear of the bleak future in South Africa ca no longer be caricatured as a white middle class phenomena. This is confirmed by the data coming out of immigration services companies operating in South Africa, that since 2016, there has been massive rise in black professionals either leaving or seeking ways to leave the country, and by the end of 2018, black South Africans surpassed for the first time the number of white South Africans leaving South Africa. My thoughts on all of this is this: Many of these people actually don't want to leave South Africa, they can be persuaded to stay, unlike me who made up his mind in 2018/2019, and I can't be convinced otherwise. So a lot of these folks, want to stay, they feel like they are pushed out of the country. The ANC government is not taking notice of this, they are deaf, and they are blind. Already as it is right now 9 August 2021, there are more people in South Africa receiving monthly social grants than there are people fully employed, meaning more people depending on tax payers, with less, ad less tax payers. What can possibly go wrong ?
When talking about private enterprise,in people s mind what they see is not the shebben or taxi but they are looking at big business like big retailers etc hence they are against private enterprise 😌
I’m glad Vusi kind of educated him on what the land means to us; “giving back dignity”. I wanted to pull my hair out because he’s so confident in dismissing the land issue. He bores me.
People need to educate, looting and corruption do not solve the solutions of the country's problems. For one schools 🏫 in Africa should introduce trading schools for some of the young people who cannot afford the expensive universities. The government should fund these schools to take young people off the streets and having them occupied in a very constructive way for the benefits of the country and the people of South Africa. Retails Shops' clerks, restaurants waiters, dishwashers, cleaning jobs, for small businesses should be jobs for young people and they should be trainned on these jobs opportunities.
Seeing a lot of young voices speaking up and sharing great ideas about how things need to change in the country, the only problem is the ANC. The ANC has no succession plan and all those old leaders are gripping tightly onto power. My only hope is that the party dies along with them.
I am at lease twice your age with a Western education. It took another 35yrs. to understand the current System set-up by Western european. For instance The World Bank, IMF. SWIFT, UN, WTO, WHO, ICC etc. are watchdog organizations for the continuation of COLONIZATION. Have you notice that when the USA put sanction on any country, even when it break international Law, that country suffer and its people. Question what are the ethnic population of USA? English French Spanish Germans etc however now they amalgamated. The US with its great Army after ceasing the land from native inhabitant wipe-out many. Not to mention Australia, South America, New Zealand, South Africa near completion. Capitalism came into exitance from slavery, stealing land and resources. The bounty profit, have you heard of The Profiteers, Piracy that where Capitalists started. and please dont mixed it with a market economy such as China, Its the only Nation so far build their economy wealth honestly, if.. you dont listen to propaganda from western media. That is why they setup those Internatiomal Agencies to continue Colonjzation. Wander why no Black Countries have a successful economy, Why their money value more than Africa that have the gold diamonds etc.
Vusi is more than capable of helping Small businesses as a minister but noo we have failed ministers going to ruin that portfolio even worse i hate this government
There is no accountability in our government. I’m sad about many things in our country. Vusi your words in this video are like putting salt on open wounds. We can do better than this!!
We dont want men with sweet talk we want men of INTEGRITY , men who understand the politics of SA and those who will fight for our lands. Black SA have waited long enough for their lands without compensation, if your.focus is not for this, you'e just another
What is this obsession with getting land for free? The people whose land you want must be compensated especially if they have developed the land and made it profitable. Also what exactly do you want to do with this land once you get it...?
First of all to show how much of a dimwit u r. Vusi doesn't hold any public office. He is just another business man. So what kind of action u can u expect from him. Not when obviously u don't hold any white business people accountable. You clearly just another racist that hate a well spoken black man. Anyway some of us we r aware that we r in this predicament because the white private sector is hell bent on keeping the economy in the white hand as a form bargaining tool to keep their relevancy in country. Let be honest if the economy can be in black hands we really don't need white people that much in this country.
@@malusintsele8031 start working on 💪 putting the economy in your hands ✋ and share the knowledge with your brothers and sisters. Can you export the rooibos tea of black farmers? Please let me know.
