Identification of Alcohol in Cosmetic Products Using Gas Chromatography 

The POM Agency found 43 (forty three) types of cosmetics that
contain hazardous materials that are used to change or improve appearance during the first semester of 2016. Various types of cosmetic preparations include bath preparations, eye makeup, facial makeup, skin care and nail preparations. Hazardous ingredients identified in these cosmetic products include mercury, hydroquinone, retinoic acid, dexamethasone, clindamycin, as well as K3 and K10 red dyes.
