That 125hz section is why I love crazy midbass setups in my cars! That chest thwack coupled with the low low rumblies from the sub is orgasmic!

I want to thank you for this… It’s been on my playlist to educate myself for quite some time… And every time I listen to it and experience the haptics that you’re talking about I feel a little more knowledgeable… Because I too am feeling it in the areas of my body, that you describe…

Im listening through headphones and I agree - I can hear them, but feel them differently. 125Hz feels more in the back of my head than the chest, and 63Hz is more towards the chest than the stomach. So, I guess listening through good headphones kind of changes the haptics to feel more above the spots you would feel with speakers in front of you. Or its just my mind playing tricks on me.

If you really want to experience ultra low freq's, go to a church with a pipe organ. Listen to the low pedal. you will not hear it (15 Hz.) but you'll feel it. I have good hearing for my age. When I was your age, my hearing was super. I could hear things that other's dismissed. Traffic signals used to be controlled by Radar like actuators for turn signals. Those signals' actuators put out a very high freq. and let me tell you that if I drove by one of those units, it hurt my ears. Sliding doors are another issue today, that can produce the same result. Dry bearings are the origin of such noise. Hurts a lot. I'll be 80 this year.

It did instantly trigger my memory and as I have heard and felt these frequencies in the past I knew exactly where I would feel it as there was almost a Phantom sensation. first in my chest and then in my stomach before you revealed it.

Talk about being on the same wave (frequency) length. I'm not worthy. Race car drivers F1, Indy, the best will tell you they drive with their "ass", feel first drive second. Strange as it seems I've applied that theory most of my life towards my favorite songs. "if you don't feel it, how can you live it" Again my brother I bow to U! Lol Thanks

Hello, I think new commercial songs are so muddy, bassy I don't know. Maybe it's the loudness that they are around -6.9 LUFS. Then Spotify normalizes in -14 and they sound like overcompressed. The only thing I do in the Spotify equalizer is to increase a bit the highs or decrease a bit the lows. And to hear songs in low volume.

0:10. Bruh. I watched that video like 10 mins ago. And I was doing the dishes when this played and I just heard the vowels. What kinda voodoo magic is this? I even mouthed them….for reference, I kinda have a dece ear for frequencies. I can usually guess a resonance peak with about + or - 10 hz of error. Usually falling around like 5hz. And when I say peak, I just mean a sin wave at this point….yet another point of reference, I have perfect pitch but, don’t know note names. Which was kinda useless until I got into producing. Though, in band I never needed sheet music…..or any theory. Which is why I don’t know note names….also raises the question as to why a lot of people with perfect pitch know how to read music. Like bro. Just play the shit you hear. Be the parrot of music. Join the exotic bird gang…..But, yeah. For some reason, after never associating these frequencies with anything for my entire life. This shit feels like some synesthesia type shit. Like, seeing a colour and hearing a note play. Except it’s hearing a sound play and now all I hear is a vowel. I can’t express how odd it feels. So thanks for that. Kinda neat.

Look at blue light in very loud low frequencies. The light looks like it is vibrating when the other colors don’t do behave this way.

this sort of hyper-sterilized audio is good for no-brain commercial music. Muddy or Boomy also has a place depending on the volume or balance with other surrounding frequencies. This is not for any credible audio person, less engineer. Rubbish Hack!
@grandrapids57
@grandrapids57 2 года назад
Really. Let's see, here's your chance to define to the world what "hyper-sterilized audio" means and its detrimental effects on music reproduction. As for the rather unsterile $20 Bluetooth speakers one may find everywhere, it would be useful for the public to learn which kind of cerebral music can be played on such so as to increase their function beyond news, traffic, and weather. Listening to "Die Zauberflote" one time on such a speaker, even before the second act, cost me $400 at Bang & Olufsen.
