Sickburn they didn’t become dolls. The characters with the button eyes are part of the detective’s imagination where he puts himself in the manor’s game
Yea in original identity v very early of beta it was actual humans. I know because I saw images on twitter about it and it also was very similar to DBD because it has hooks as well.

@@Cinna3unnz uh, no. He got a scare from the army. He got into army cause he had bad grades at school because he disliked it. After army he had some problems at college and I mostly think his parents sent him into asylum. In asylum he was told that he has delusional schizophrenia and he's dangerous even if he never really hurt anyone. And from Kreacher, Emily, and Kurt's letters we can understand that asylum mostly turned patients into lunatics instead of curing them. Yeah, Kurt mostly lived in his fantasy but people who was around him just didn't gave him a chance to become a real explorer :/

i’m pretty sure we got a letter from a man that was asking the detective to find his daughter that was involved the the games, so we weren’t invited to play like the survivors, we just went to investigate what happened

I get the survivors are important and all, but all I'm wondering about is the Detective, the weird bird-like and eye looking monster from the story trailer and that one anime trailer, the Lost Girl (who's trailer still creeps me out to this day), Lucky Guy, and that other person who was with the detective in his game when he participated with the Lost Girl
Lucky Guy is a substitute for the deductions, he was made from the detective's imagination because there were some diaries that didn't specify the author. Detective lost his memory which lead him to become a detective, but he used to be a novelist
You know, I have just been focusing on playing with Identity V that I forgot it had a deep story for each character xD I even forgot the reason why or how I started playing the matches is cuz the detective was reading their diary 😂
So here’s the thing I believe what happened. No one survived. You’re the detective tasked to find out what’s happened exactly to everyone. You find out about the games. But you find out that only four people played the game per match. That’s why you try to think, on deductions what happened in said match. It’s a trial to see, depending on each character what might have happened. Maybe someone escaped, but I don’t know. Everyone was lured with something they really wanted. No one got out. Orpheus is tasked with finding out what happened, but what I think is that the owner of the manor invited him so he can take part in the next game.

I don't think the first aid/tool kit/map are indicators of which characters they are in that scene. Otherwise, forward would have the football with him. In fact forward is the only one I can tell for sure it's him. The person you said is the doctor kinda looks like mechanic to me (although the outfit resembles the explorer's). I can't really tell who the one in the middle is, but the ghost is definitely Martha or so it seems. The one in the far right (who at first I thought was a female version of the mercenary) really could be gardener tho. It's interesting to see her as a rebel girl xD

The gardener is actually Leo's daughter, one of the proofs is that leo can wear a gardener doll as an accessory. Which he is the only one who can wear it, and yet, that is one of the many proofs. He still remembers her, but at the same time he got to kill her.
Because of depression( I think ),Leo set the factory on fire with himself,attempting suicide. He survived the fire though but gave him a lot of skin burns,you could see his skin was different and covered with bandages because of the fire incident

Mari XMimsX no, it's was formerly an orphanage on White Sand Street funded by Thief but somehow got turn into a Asylum own by the Church. And Emily worked there as a volunteer and give children electric therapy. That's why she was misunderstood by the local.

Very late but there's a correction: Emma was never at Kreachers orphanage The orphanage Kreacher had was in poor condition and was a single storey house. Emma's orphanage was better and was double storeyed Thats why Kreacher called Emma 'Miss Woods' instead of 'Miss Beck' because he only knew Emma when he was at the manor, not when Emma was young and was in a different orphanage than the one he ran

I really need freaking story improvement and updates in IDV. The new skins, game modes, and crossovers can wait, but please NE should not forget the STORY!!! Ugh! Wasting a really good game.
Rhome Flores The reason why i was invested in IdV was the story of Orpheus and his adventure in the mansion.. they didn’t have to drop the original story because it was no where near like DBD unless if they had other reasons. Not only that, Orpheus is one of the most underrated character in idV when he’s the main character
The detective goes to the manor to look for someone's missing girl. And then he reads the diaries on the bookshelf to see what happened. When the detective reads the diaries you play as the characters in the diaries
things i dont like about the game 1. i dont like the button eyes that much 2. i dont like the rocket chair its just too cartoony 3. i dont like the candy blood 4. i dont like the hell embers weapon
It is just detective imagination while reading diary so he only assume they were dead while being strap to that hypothetical rocket chair. In his mind it might be much more gruesome.
I really like the button eyes, but I was never the biggest fan of rocket chairs. I heard that they were originally gonna be nooses which is a lot cooler imo but not family friendly ig. Still love the game tho
1:05 I wanna know how old Emma was in here, because it is confirmed that Kreacher is 8 years older than her so if she was about 10 here, the Kreacher may likely be a teenager here?! Around 18? And he owned the orphanage??
