Tbh i don't get people that make fun of "bad players" aka people that might be newer to the game or don't have much experience playing the game. It's called being humble and not forgetting that YOU too was a noob once

They died because you didn't save them before the meter hit half. Once your meter reaches the middle, it means they'll die the next time they are chaired, so it means save before it hits half and once they're chaired again after that, they'll have it half way and another rescue available. Also you must body block for them if you are the rescuer or they'll just go down like they did in your video. Since the mechanic died fast over not being rescued before half, a red music box would have been ideal in speeding up the decoding of a cipher. :v It's a 1 month old video tho, but I'm making sure to leave this here for new comers that happen to see it.

This was made many months ago but I just want to list down a few things, just in case people are still watching this guide to learn her: - Use your music boxes depending on the situation. Only set up your slow music boxes if you hear the heart beat. - Dancer players usually build their persona left and right, only a few use 36 and 39 (And they let you know if they're going to use those persona builds). - If you rescue someone without tide turner, or if you don't body block for them after rescuing them, they'll go down very quickly. Try to body block when it's your turn to rescue or let others with tide turner do the rescuing first before you decide to do it yourself. Setting up slow music boxes - Don't be in a rush into putting the boxes and don't try to increase the range while being close by the hunter. Only increase the range when the hunter is still far from you, or if they haven't seen you. - You can place the slow boxes in pallets to stun the hunter. However, when they destroy the boxes, they won't receive the slowing effect. If you think that is not necessary, you can put them in the middle of pallet loops. - When being chased, hide behind the pallet and wait for the hunter to go through and stun them. While waiting, the hunter will blindly swing at the pallet and step back to get a hit from you without getting stunned. Do not drop the pallet too early. Be patient and wait for them to make an attempt and attack while passing through, that's when you pull down the pallet. If you can, put down a slow music box while the hunter is blindly swinging at the pallet. Setting up fast music boxes - Only start using these boxes when there are 2 ciphers left or when one of your teammates got eliminated quickly, or when everyone is at the hunter and you're the only one decoding. - It's best to save them up for opening the gate. A few common tips for survivors: - Some hunters are only effective when they have unlocked their presence. Those are the hunters where you need to get your distance as much as possible (and are extremely difficult to tight kite). An example of this is Wu Chang. When you are his first target, try your best not to get hit. Drop as many pallets as you can to get some distance. Trust me, it wastes the hunter's time for deciding to go after you.

Another tip : when you kite the hunter, put a slow music box next to a pallet. If he is removing it, you can stun him with the pallet.

I once played with a dancer teammate and the mercenary was on chair and everyone was injured but her. I was literally spamming “cipher primed” so she can go and save mercenary. She literally came to me and primed the cipher while the other injured teammate was going for a rescue. I was so angry because now she killed 2 ppl in our team. Dancers play too safe sometimes and not fro their own good.

I don't think you should consider yourself a "pro" yet

Honestly, as someone who has a b badge with FD she’s really good for decoding too, I tend to use a red box whenever I am deciding especially the last cipher to speed up process, also leaving a music box under a pallet is a good distraction and can help others kite

Do not do it, please 2:03 ~other survivors slow down with the slow box and this hinders their movement and use the fast box to open the exit 4:33

you're not a pro calling mech bad over a mistake you caused in the first place. you try to give rescue tips but saved over half+ didn't body block and didn't use tide like girl. and then you used the box after the exit gate was open you're supposed to use it while opening the gate. and I see no point infusing a slow box for rescuing like there just going to get hit after the fact so box=wasted. think about the tips and the way you play before you try to replay peoples terror shock and mistakes to call them baad so you can feel superior towards the other players. thank you.

kited a detention BQ for 161 secs with dancer and I’m proud even though it’s not a lot ;)

she died becasue you reached past half and you didn’t body block… but ok

some friends and i tested it, the red music box does not speed up decoding and if it does then we didn’t notice because it was such a tiny difference that at that point it just didn’t feel right to waste them on ciphers.

Ik this is from 2 yr ago but let me just drop this: If you have a tide turner (which in this case fd do not) you shouldn't body block, the goal of the tide turner is to waste the hunter's time.. try not to get hit and if you do that, you can still go for the 2nd rescue. (ONLY DO THIS IF U SAVE BEFORE THE MID LINE) if you save them late (above the line/or if the line disappears), it's hopeless-

Blue slow is it makes the hunters movement slow And makes the hunters attack slow
