Hey Mike I'm wondering if, in ideomotor regression, if it would be helpful to guide the client visually down an escalator that deepens their trance while at the same time they are doing the ideomotor finger movements and processing the traumatic event? That way, the escalator ensures they keep going into a deeper more relaxed state instead of allowing them to start remembering and interacting consciously with the event? Thus allowing the processing all to be truly unconscious?
