I remember as a child a tiny Italian lady who had a fish and chip shop on the edge of a large council estate in South Wales. This was in 1976. I once saw her screaming in Italian at another woman and the two of them started fighting. Mrs Strinarti bit the other woman's fingers and wouldn't let go. Crazy Italian woman with eyes like black coals and dressed like a Victorian. Best chips I have ever tasted.
