It was funny watching the storm sneaking up behind you as you were looking and dealing with what was infront. It became a bit like watching a scary movie and wanting to yell out turn around, ITS BEHIND YOU!!! im very glad you are ok 👍❤. Thank you for sharing.

I'm an avid kayaker. I used to be a kayak fisherman. I think we've all put ourselves in not so sensible situations at some point.I know for sure I have done so. Glad your okay.
Glad you’re ok. I once had a lightening strike hit a tree I was parked next to. Thought I popped my eardrums it was that loud. Always gotta be careful. Good video!

I knew i would run out of gas if i took my car to go fishing and i did it. I went fishing and ran it out of gas, with no plan on how to get home. Well worth it, I probably got skunked don’t even remember.
We don't have too many thunderstorms to contend with here, but the wind change can catch you out in Port Phillip. You can end up paddling in place, fighting the wind to get to shore.
I just had a scary situation my self got swept out of outgoing tide in to the inlet. I was equipped with a trolling motor and mirage drive on a Hobie and was just staying still not going forward or backwards. Had to flag a boat down. If I had flipped I would have been done.
Glad you are all good mate. I had anxiety watching this, I have a very similar vlog where I ended up in the drink in mid winter. Scary situation that I shared for the same reasons, prevent others doing it lol You clearly never saw it 🤣😂🤣

That’s not idiotic if you learned from it… that’s called earned experience IMO. I’m thinking of taking up kayaking and I’m looking for a Canadian that can meet me in the middle of Lake Ontario? Maybe a meet and greet, shake hands while we go back to our respective countries 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦! I think it would make a good video or possibly series… I’m looking at getting a Hobie PA or an Old Town PDL
A bit harsh to call yourself idiotic in this. You went fishing, stayed close to shore, when the weather got bad you headed back in. I usually do the same when a storm blows through. Just need to wait it out until you can get back out. A tarp for shelter and a stove for coffee would have made this an enjoyable experience.

Yah, not brave, just not too bright. This was Lake Superior, I was chasing Smallmouth bass and Walleye, closer in, but was working my way out to the deeper water where they get trout up to 40lbs.
This is in Michigan, so all of Canada is between this place and Alaska. The clear, cold, water was a lot like Alaska. I have been to Alaska, it might be the most beautiful place on earth.

Yo dude I forgiven this dude but kinda annoyed, I was live baiting off the rocks with a balloon clear in sight next thing y’know i had to cut off around 100Metres of line because I Kayak went straight into it and I was so annoyed because it was new line as-well 300 metres now got around 200m left 🙂

So domesticated you should never leave your house. What you experience was nothing. Think about what your ancestors endured. Men aren't men today. And those that get in the slightest degree if hazard suffer from what if instead of reality. Deal smart in reality and you'd be surprised at how resourceful you really are..
@@marxfishing you got caught up in a bit of a rain and you faired well. The majority of men use to call that a fun outing but not today; they apoligize. Thank God I still call it fun or an adventure and to hell with the onlookers who live in WHATIFLAND. I'd call that video; "TESTING MY SKILLS" Storms and lightening happens and it's best to understand and be familiar with nature in its entirety so you aren't caught short. I've had my best kayaking experiences in storms and off shore in the middle of it. I'm damn sure not going to degrade myself or call my timing stupid. Before modern boats all personal boats and fishing boats were far less safe than a modern kayak and men fished or used the waters; rain or shine.
